lol....why are you so concerned? Fucking creeper.

I've disliked the Yankees for as long as I can remember. In NYC its Mets or Yankees. Of course I'm Pirates for life, but when dealing with NY teams I'm going with the Mets. I'm not even a huge fan of baseball, its like 4th on my list of sports I follow, but I do enjoy going to games.

You're giving me shit for liking two shitty ass team....and one is rather casual support at that. lol....you never cease to amaze.

*Loser must post avatar of winner's choice from the end of baseball season to the beginning of the next baseball season

*If winner's team finishes 10+ games better than the loser's team, loser must also include signature of winner's choice

Care to add or revise?

nah, sounds good to me.

I don't think like_that read the part where I said
I'm not saying anybody has to pick sides
.

Since he DIDN'T read that part, he completely misinterpreted the entire point of my post, which provides a reasoning why someone displaced in New York may decide to pick the Mets or Yankees as a secondary team.

Ah so wait auto, you moved to New York and chose between the 2 teams there? That must NEVER happen, and you must be the biggest fucking frontrunner on this entire planet. You deserve to die.

Yeah silly me.....I got the wrong team. My "frontrunning" should have led me to the Yankees. lol

You gotta spell shit out of these fuckers on here....some even require pictures if applicable.

I don't think you read my post then. I know what you said and I know what you were trying to say. I was directing my post to your explanation on why one might "cheer" (notice the quotations as you would say) for a particular team in a bigger city, which i thought was complete bs. Notice I made no mention about "picking sides. Apparently you didn't read any of my post.

Next time don't try so hard to strategically type out your post, so that you can nitpick one thing you said ("picking sides") and spin it around. It turned out to be completely irrelevant to my response anyway. Unlike a lot of posters here, I can see through the bullshit.

Also.....
lhslep134;730075 wrote: If you're going to live in a place where people might actually care (right or wrong) what you say, it probably isn't a bad idea to pick sides.
lhslep134;730075 wrote:I'm not saying anybody has to choose sides
Nice contradiction. I am sure you will try to spin that around too.

No need to spin anything when you're making an illogical assumption.

You're inferring that me saying something isn't a bad idea is the same as me saying that you MUST do it. Completely wrong.

So therefore, since your inference is false, I'm not contradicting anything. The only things that are contradictory are your false inference and the second line of mine you posted.

Not surprised to see you missed the point. Doesnt matter if you chose the yankees, or the mets. Its not about wins/media coverage. You dont get two teams thats the point. Any real fan would understand this. You're obviously over concerned about how others percieve you and are very shallow, otherwise you wouldnt have to resort to being a mets "fan" to try and fit in.

Its funny that you have to resort to being a bandwagoning POS just try and hope someone will talk to you//like you. Thoguh based on your attitude/idiotic posts on here I suppose I should tell you to do anything possible because you are completely unlikeable on here.

Whats funny is the butthurt gibberish you just wrote. Where did I say any of that?

lmao....talk about over analyzing. Did you miss the part where I said I'm not a huge baseball fan? The majority of the people I know here are Yankees fans...so its fun to root against them. You should know all about it being since you're such a huge fan of being "anti-Pittsburgh."

You are one strange ranger my friend...lol...wow.

Since he DIDN'T read that part, he completely misinterpreted the entire point of my post, which pretty much displays that I never even implied that one "MUST" cheer for a team. I wasn't inferring anything, I know exactly what I was saying. Let me break it down for you:

- You gave an explanation as to why one might "cheer" for a city's particular team, whether they believe they MUST do it or choose to do it.

- I responded to this explanation by stating why I think your reasoning is a BS excuse to "cheer" for a team whether the person believes they MUST do it, or choose to do it.

No more no less.

Lol at this bandwagon conversation. I visited my cousin two summers ago in Chicago. After he got off work, we went out to a bar to grab dinner at like 7. The bar was packed with Cubs fans and it was awesome. I can tell you right now that if I relocated, I would definitely find a team in my new city to support while not forsaking my loyalties to my old team. The feeling of camaraderie in that bar was awesome. And if anyone tried to accuse me of being a bandwagon fan I would probably laugh in their face because their probably like 15 years old and have no experience in the real world.

Mets and Tribe both a surprising 3-2 ... can they both keep up this 97-win pace? Or will they combine to win 97 games??
