I swear I am a total jinx to the Reds. The group I drove wanted to leave after 8 so I said fine, and as we were walking out I told the people staying I'm bad luck and they'll win this. Sure as shit we get to the car and I open my phone to see they won. The Reds had an abysmal record at games I went to compared to everyone I know last year and seems like it continues.

Also, 2 years ago when the Bengals won the division I was at every loss(including postseason) and didn't see a win. I am a curse to Cincinnati pro sports teams.

I was watching the game in my car on base. Ramon hit that homerun and I started yelling and screaming and I look over and there sits a colonel in his truck laughing at me. He asked what happened and I told him. He said , I shouldn't have asked. He's a brewers fan. I wanted to laugh at him, but I just said, oh sorry.

Then I celebrated some more. I was so happy I almost went CCRunner and went for a run. Then I said fuck that and went to the beach.

I just never understood those who leave games early........I could see maybe if you have season tix....and its a normal week night game.....team is losing or winning by a huge margin and ya wanna get home early for work the next morning.....but leave opening day early?

That is like leaving the super bowl early to beat the traffic when your team is down by a TD or less in the 4th qtr!

Oh well..\

Closest we get to leaving professional games early is if the outcome is not in doubt at steelers games we will leave our seats and walk to the side area at the 2 minute warning and leave as soon as the game is over.
