I hate that ESPN show "First Take," but I am traveling on business today so I had it on, and they interviewed Derek Anderson (who admitted that he still roots for Ohio State, despite transfering to Kentucky, but he is rooting for Kentucky tonight).
Anyway, they gave an interesting stat: Anderson wore #23 at OSU, and scored 23 points in his only game against Kentucky. He then wore #23 at Kentucky, and scored 23 points in his only game against OSU. Kindof cool, I guess. At least worthy of a "Cool Story Bro" ...

i believe the derek anderson being discussed in this thread is the one that was drafted by the cavs. but it's definitely not the former browns qb that attended oregon st and now plays for the arizona cardinals

Haha, someone thought it was Derek Anderson the QB.
I'm still kind of mad Pitino didn't play Anderson in the 1997 national title game. UK would have won three straight titles.

Anderson is one of my favorite all-time college players. He would've finished at OSU if it wasn't for the mess Randy Ayers made of the program.
