Ohio State won that game while shooting 32.9% from the field, including 4-20 from three's. Florida St. was 35.4% from the field, inluding 3-17 from three's.

Yeah well that's not true.

OSU dominated them.

OSU dominated Florida?

Florida shot 61% from the field and 43% from 3 point range, and out rebounded OSU. Florida was up 3 at half. OSU didn't really pull away until there were about 8 minutes left in the game, if I remember correctly.

So yes, OSU played really well to beat them, but Florida actually played pretty well themselves.

The UF game was close until the 2nd half of the 2nd half. OSU just turned it on defensively and it opened everything up.

That was the first game when I was like...."Wow, OSU is actually the real deal and has the tools to win it all."

SportandLady's logic primarily is that if OSU beat them then they obviously weren't playing well so it really doesn't count.

It obviously has nothing to do with the fact that OSU is a REALLY good team or anything.

UF played really well against OSU....bottomline.

You don't play REALLY well and lose a game by that much. They played good for most of the game but obviously a 20 point loss can't be called a very good played game.

You can play really well and get beat by a better more talented team.

Those are just things I have said about OSU in this thread. It's amazing, you can say nice things about a team and inevitably at least one of their fans take them as insults.

A team can play well and still lose. OSU is just superior to Florida and if you remember how Donovan complimented OSU after the game I think he accepted that they just lost to a better team.

Even during that game I thought Florida was a really good team. They are like a poor man's OSU. A good post player, a good shooter on the perimeter, good PG play and they play good defensively.

You CANNOT play REALLY well and lose by 20. They let up over 90 points. They had a good offensive game and a bad defensive one. Florida played a good first HALF. One half doesn't translate to a REALLY well played game.

Donovan was being stubborn as hell that game. His press was getting DICED bad for easy buckets, but he kept it on.

Did you think they were a good team against UCF? Or Jacksonville?

The whole point I was trying to make, was that UF is playing a lot better now then they were earlier this season...so while the OSU victory over UF looks good now, it wasn't a great victory then because UF got x10000 times better since then.

And Ohio State is x100000 better right now then they were when they played them.

Yes they improved but it was and still is a quality win.

I don't think so. OSU started the year as a great team and are a great team now.

So should we discount FSU win over Duke, because if you watched that game, Duke played horribly. Duke wasn't playing well at the time, so it wasn't that good a win for FSU.

If you think FSU was playing as well in the beginning of the season as they were now, there is no hope for you.

I love watching soccer fans try to argue sports.

FSU was 11-3 OOC. They had Singleton healthy. They played pretty well all season.

FSU was 10-4 OOC...they lost to Auburn for Christ Sakes. Their only 'solid' OOC victory was a home win against Baylor, who isn't even in the NCAA tourney.

I love watching retards try to argue sports.

The night before the Auburn game one of the players stubbed his toe and they were up all night as a team crying together. Only lost when their emotional tanks ran dry.

I'm guessing they didn't even eat their breakfast.
