I'm glad that Marquette beat Syracuse because I absolutely did not want Carolina to face the Orange. That 2-3 zone, coupled with the virtual home game for the 'Cuse, would have been tough for the Heels to overcome. Now I feel like this is a game that Carolina absolutely should win, and I will be very disappointed if they don't. Marquette doesn't have much size on their roster, which should be a huge advantage for the Carolina bigs. Marquette, like a typical Big East team, does seem to play with a good bit of physicality, so Zeller and Henson will have to play tough. If Carolina decides to play some defense, and shoots it fairly well from the perimeter, I think they move on. However, that's much easier said than done.
My god. I just know it's as good as fact and I am sick over it. What a horrible season; I am going to go get my heater and remove my head. I should just replace my Cameron Indoor Stadium painting with a poster that simply says "Roy."

Well, it's official. Carolina just lost to Marquette. Thanks, rec.
I'd think you'd want the Heels to keep winning so Duke can beat them in the Final Four on their way to title #5. Ultimate bragging rights in that case, but you've already ruined it.

Im glad that Syracuse is out because even though unc, osu, and uk travel very well, that would be virtually a home game for Syracuse.
Edit: ironman beat me to it

The whole state of Wisconsin needs to hold a shooting clinic.

Carolina is playing pretty well defensively, but Marquette is simply awful. Took the Heels a little while to get it going offensively, but they're starting to get into a much better flow.
Just gotta stay focused in the second half and finish it off early.

I wish Ohio State could trade sides of the bracket with Kansas.
UNC is dangerous if/when they decide to play some defense.

Well, OSU should start on time because the clock should run a lot to finish this thing off.

33 point lead and you let them cut it down to 14? Inexcusable.
I don't care if you're up by 100, you gotta freakin play the game until the clock runs out. What a joke!

Glad that's over. Ugly second half by Carolina, but they were clearly not focused after opening up a 51-18 lead. Gotta have a killer instinct though.
Zeller was the man for Carolina tonight with 27 points and 16 boards. He'll have to be just as good in the next round for the Heels to advance to Houston.
