He doesn't push off, he creates space w/ his body, big difference.

I liked the corssover/step back to get away from Boynton more.

Terrible switch by Boynton and Walker there. Jimmer can shoot over Walker all day. Then a bad foul on Jimmer going for the Off Rebound.

Parsons seems like he is playing horrible on the offensive end.

Jimmer 0/5 from deep. Going to have to change that to win.

LOL, that charge call was pathetic. Just reinforces my thoughts the refs are just making HORRIBLE decisions on the block/charge this tourney. So many charges being called, and over half are just atrocious calls.

It was a charge dude....all three announcers(who want BYU to win) all said it was the right call

It cant be a chrage if you arent squared up. He hit Irving on the outside of the shoulder. The rule has just become completely irrelevant in the eyes of officials.

I want Florida in the game bad, but that was a bad call.

You don't have to be square....just have to be set

Not true at all. I was/am an official. You have to be square and set and vertical and have to have been set in enough time for the offense to avoid you (ie, cant slide when they are in air or about to take off). It is a rule that favors the offense 75-25...but it never called that way.

I was saying you don't have to be right in front of them....I believe that is were we are disagreeing

probably.

My issue with the call is when you clearly try to avoid the player, like Jimmer did by trying to split, it should be a no-call. If indeed you judge Walker to have been set. It shouldnt be a charge.

For instance that play. Same situation, defender set but the offensive player tried to avoid and go around. Block.

Just so inconsistent, and I feel this NCAA tourney, they have just been going charge like it is nothing!
