UConn could be unbelievable next year if everyone comes back. Not that I would expect Kemba to do so.

Good start. Kawahi Leonard with a personal, followed by a Tech.

Dont know what was said, but he did get a warning to stop jawing and didnt, earning the T. Touch to feel bad for the kid when you get the warning and ignore it...but you gotta feel for SDSU losing their best player just 4 minutes in.

UCONN, UNC (probably my #1), Kentucky, OSU and a few others Im blanking on will be loaded. But, I dont expect all those players to come back, especially Kemba. I do think UNC will have all or most back.

I believe Kemba participated in Senior Day....he's gone.

WTF? What kind of school does that? Never heard of a school allowing a kid to act as a "senior" when they arent...

"I don't know yet [about returning]," he said. "It depends on my situation. Because I'm walking doesn't mean I'm leaving. Everybody thinks that, oh, he set it up like that, he did this, he's graduating because he's leaving. It's just the [circumstances]." - Kemba Walker

I'd almost guarantee he's gone too though, because I'm not sure his stock will get higher. Depending on who stays, next year's PG class could be loaded (Rivers, Marshall, Teague, Cory Joseph, Selby, etc.)

Duke did for Jwill but he had graduated and was NPOY so he was good as gone.

Even if the kid is NPOY and is graduated etc. I think it is something special for a kid to participate in senior day. I dont think it should be given unless you stay all 4 years.

I guess it has more to do with if you go pro. If you graduate in 3 years...thats different, though I still dont like it that much.

I see your point, but when a guy has meant so much to your program in 3 years and has made it clear he is graduating and going pro, its hard not to honor him in his last game.

Pretty impressed with the Aztec defense so far. I've seen them play several times this year, and of course everyone knows they like to hang their hat on defense, but was a little unsure how they would hold Walker in check after watching him carve up the BE and 2 other teams in the tourney this year...he's got 6 points as of now, putting him on pace for around 20 for the game. While that's not outstanding, it's definately manageable to get win for San Diego State.

I guess Im just old school. IU doesnt even retire jerseys lol.

If he has graduated, or scheduled too, I like the exception. But NEVER for a 1 or 2 and done kid....

SDSU is killing UConn inside so far. First to 60 might win this game.

UConn up 9 at the half, Walker almost hit a 40 footer at the buzzer.

Lot of standing around by UConn so far in the 2nd. It's pass and watch, pass and watch.

And SDSU is getting whatever they want.

Just getting home from work so I didn't see any of the first half. SDSU looks good right now.

Verne is pretty obnoxious right now. Seems very one-sided on the excitement.

Yeah I have Verne muted and Gus on the speakers. Verne doesn't do it for me.
