Whether it's OSU/UNC or UK/UNC, it will without a doubt be the second game of the doubleheader on Sunday.

It's now looking like Kansas may have to go through the vaunted lineup of VCU, Richmond and Florida State to get to the Final Four.

Wow.

So out of the final 16 teams, Ohio State has already beaten three of them -- two on their home courts.

I guess the schedule wasn't too bad, after all.

At least OSU's wins were against 3 DIFFERENT teams. :)

OSU, Duke and North Carolina top the list as most impressive. Not surprising that most would say those are 3 of the top 4 teams left in the field.

BTW, Ohio State opens up as a 6-point favorite against Kentucky and my guess is it tips off at 9:45 PM EST on Friday.

I think UK has the best defensive backcourt the Buckeyes have seen. The post game though should favor OSU by a good margin, though. If Jones doesn't show up Kentucky is in trouble. Same if there's any type of foul trouble. Eloy Vargas needs to see as little of the floor as possible.

UK is a very good team, however there is no way they should beat the Buckeyes.. Does that mean they can't? Of course not..

OSU is a nightmare match-up for Kentucky. OSU is great offensively while UK sometimes struggles scoring the ball.. OSU is a great defensive team which goes in line with the previous statement.

UK's strength is definitely Brandon Knight... Well, OSU just happens to have a guy named Aaron Craft who is a ridiculous defender. Will Knight get some points? Of course, but he will have to really work for them. OSU is just as long and athletic as UK as well.

UK needs Knight to play well against good teams. Knight struggled in the opener against Princeton and they nearly lost.

Does this game worry me? Yes, BUT every game worries me in this crazy tournament. My head says OSU won't have any trouble, however...

Florida State was probably the best defense they've played all year. I think they're probably better than UK's as well. Not as good as a team as UK, but FSU played some nasty D against OSU and I doubt OSU will see that again even in the tourney(unless of course FSU somehow makes it to the final LOL).

Unfortunately we lose Gus Johnson, but we get Nantz/Kellogg, which is the next best thing.

Seeing as how FSU has the #1 defense in the nation, I would say that without a doubt they are better on D than UK

I think osu gets by Kentucky by 5. Kentucky doesn't have an answer for sullinger. If unc wins that is a bad match up for osu I can see them falling to nc

Notice how I included the words "I think" and was only referring to the backcourt. It's not as if UK's that far behind FSU. Kentucky was 11th in FG% defense (the only defensive category in which FSU was first) and 4th among teams that made the tourney. I think their length on the perimeter could be a problem. Working the ball inside to Sullinger can eliminate that problem real quickly.

FSU is first in Blocks for regular season and post season as well.

I just looked at tickets on stub hub. Cheapest available are $280....for both games. I'd really like to go, but not feelin droppin that amount of coin. I really don't have any desire to see UNC/Marquette.

In the regular season, per ESPN, FSU averaged 5.74 blocks per game. 9th in the country. Kentucky averaged 6.27, 3rd to only Syracuse and Northwestern State.
