So who do you watch/discuss games with other than this or other related type forums?

I have been a fly-on-the-wall to a couple discussions recently that make even the biggest basketball dolts on this forum sound like geniuses recently. Most all I can't recall the specifics of as they had me laughing internally prior to their completions...Lol

I realize brackets bring out some fools who know nothing of the sport but some of the shit just blows me away, I'm not even what I would consider an overly knowledgeable fan but after hearing some peoples take on the tourney thus far I feel better about claiming to be above average.

Any good water cooler stories?

I know people who pick at least one 16 seed every year because "they will win a game one day" lol

I know a guy who is convinced if Lebron James played on a 16 seed for 5 minutes a half, they would win the national championship lol

NC gives up 68 ppg. Why all of a sudden in this tourney are they acting like they could give two shits about playing defense?

I was discussing the tournament with my friend's brother, who is the type that, during this time of year, talks as if he invented the game. While we watched the Thursday games I asked him who his championship was. He told me he had Kansas winning over St. John's for the title. (Think for a moment what sides of the bracket each of those teams are.) I said "good luck" and then proceeded to ask him how far he had Maryland going. He said, "I'd have to check my bracket."

It is so fun messing with people.

It's easy to limit ACC opponents to 68 ppg

I work with quite a few Pitt/Big East fans who were all running their mouths up until yesterday...they aren't going to be happy to see me Monday unless the Buckeyes lay an egg later today lol. I warned them about Pitts past tournament woes to no avail.

My roommate at Ohio State is from Pittsburgh, and he told me all his buddies always hype up Pitt football and basketball (claiming that a Pittsburgh/Ohio State bowl game this past year would be a good one). He says it's funny to see them do that year after year of not performing well in the tourney, and he enjoys the date when they lose.

My experience has been that West Virginia fans fall into this category also.

Stupidest conversation I heard was in my own mind when filling out my brackets...." No way does Butler make it past 2nd round this year"..........................Damnit...gonna quit listening to myself....

My 2 favorites were:
"I have Kansas and Pitt playing for the title"
"Butler is unproven this time of year, and typically disappointments in March... ODU usually pulls off the first round stunner"

The second one I literally was speechless for a minute as I tried to gather my thoughts for the rebuttal. It eventually came, but it took awhile. Guy is a moron.

One of the TEACHERS at my school filled out his bracket and had Pittsburg in the Final 4, Illinoise beating UNLV and Perdue making the Sweet 16.

It's ridiculous spelling regardless, but the damn teams are listed right beside where he filled in the names.

I don't know whats worse that they spelled the names wrong with them being right there or that they are a teacher and spelled them wrong regardless.

This one is my favorite I hear every year "Duke sucks."
