You were close. 36 would have been three or four points too high.

OSU only wins this game because of food poisoning and poor officiating...smh

Nope. Can't expect to shoot from three like that but opposition has to be aware that the Bucks will drain on you if you concentrate on Sully too much.

Not bad for a decent team.

I guess the key word in your statement was "might"?

I had to laugh at Gibby with his hardon for Kansas, the Big 12 was weak this year and only 3 teams made it to the second round and so far 0 to the sweet 16.

Lighty missed more free throws(shooting only 2) than he did field goals(shooting 10)!

Early on when the game was still somewhat in doubt there were several bad calls against the Buckeyes that had me wondering what the score would be if we put on Duke jerseys. Probably a 50-60 point win.

This team is unbeatable if David Lighty is going to make 7 threes. That was just an unfair performance.

If Ohio State shoots their regular percentage from 3 they only win by 20, practically a nail biter. Really tough break for George Mason.

OSU might kill you if you try to run with them, but if you slow it down they WILL kill you. The only hope you have is to be hot the whole game and run with them.

Ignorant talking heads on ESPN. It would be a huge mistake to get into a running game with Ohio State. No One in the country is better at shooting 3-pointers in transition than Ohio State. Matta would be more than happy to trade 3-pointers for 2 point dunks.

Like they killed Northwestern twice when they slowed it down?

OSU is shooting amazing right now. I just have a hard time believing they can bank on being able to shoot 62% from 3 every game. There is going to be a time when the shots aren't falling and the other team has a solid presence down low for Sullinger to deal with.

Matta could stop this but he won't because he likes shove teams noses in shit

As some have said, teams don't stay this hot for very long

When they go cold, they better hope the other team gets cold too

Have your fun now...your dreams get shattered in the Sweet 16

Opens mouth proves himself to be an ignoramus, time after time after time after time after time ad infinitum.

Who is more likely to "go cold", the best shooting team in the country or their opponent?

Thing is, the Bucks likely won't have a game when everyone shoots terribly, they'll likely be good enough from outside to draw off the double on Sully. I think they've only had one game this year where they all shot under average. I don't see it happening.

Are you guys ok with that?

Still on here running your mouth after being made a fool of? "Ohio State only 3-4 points better than GM." Makes a bigger FOOL of himself with each addition post.

We pity your existence.

Woulda, coulda, shoulda....If you had to bet your life, who is more likely to have "a time when their shots aren't falling"? The best shooting team in the country or a lesser shooting team?

Does that count all of the 3-pointers clanked by the bench players during the 8 minutes of mop up time?

No one goes 6 games in a row in March/April shooting well...every championship team that I can remember has had an "off" game, and were capable of pulling it out either with their defense or the other team's inability to score like they usually do. Ohio State isn't a "super" team, they are gonna have an off game...that being said, I think their defense is STELLAR and will be able to make up for their below average shooting.

But at the same time, I just don't think any team wants to get into a track meet/shoot-out with OSU. You play to OSU's strengths that way. I honestly haven't watched UNC all year long (I just never found time to catch one of their games) but I just don't see UK running with OSU paying off for them. We'll find out soon, I guess.

I dont think it pays off for anyone either. But I think it gives you a better chance than a slow down game (UK/UNC)

Here are some games and their 3 point % that OSU either lost, or snuck out with a win.

33% Wisconsin
26% Purdue
25% Nwestern
20% Nwestern
36% Minnesota
36% Iowa

Again, if they chuck up 20 3-pointers and have an off night, they will lose to a team like Kentucky, UNC, Kansas, etc.
