The man proved his incompetence as governor so -- as a conservative -- I applaud putting someone as ineffective and inefficient as him in charge of the opposition. :)

Interesting. He seems like a nice guy but is an intellectual dullard....how is he going to impact the NYC/Bay area Democrat base? He failed as a politician as much as Timmy Kaine did (completely unelectable now) and doesn't have much in his favor other than he is technically from a large state.

Some points from the article:

"“I didn’t learn my values from Wall Street,” Strickland said during the campaign about a rival who once worked for Lehman Brothers. “I didn’t learn my values from a bankrupt investment bank. I didn’t learn my values from modern-day robber barons. I learned my values on a little dirt road in southern Ohio called Duck Run.”

You mean the investment banks YOUR POLITICAL PARTY BAILED OUT. You didn't get any values there because you never qualified for a position remotely close to it.

"Strickland - a pro-gun, pro-abortion rights psychologist"

Perhaps I'm wrong, wasn't Strickland a pro-life guy a few years ago?

He's all over the place... his religious values seem to click in pretty much at random.
