I'm going to Vegas in the beginning of May my buddies bachelor party. I'm the best man and looking for some info on the place (places to stay, things to do, etc). I haven't been there since I've turned 21.

Any info is appreciated.

Agreed on Speariment Rhino, hit up Treasures as well, but make sure to buy entry passes from a promoter they will save you half the money.

Stay at the Palms. Visit the Spearmint Rhino.

That's all I got.

All of the above...oh, and try to score VIP or free passes. Just ask the concierge at your hotel.

Normally I would endorse this, BUT, when I was there in August for my bachelor party, the Rhino had a "no touch" policy after it was raided by the cops. So, make sure you do your homework before going here. When its operating at full capicity, its the best in Vegas, no doubt.

PS, hit the Ditch Friday pool party at the Palms, you won't regret it. Rent a cabana, totally worth it.

Spearmint Rhino = importing porn stars from LA and San Diego. I don't know about the raid, and being an old, married guy I was just watching out for my buddies, but when I was in Vegas in January '10 I've never seen a strip club with hotter women. My wife gave me a "you can look but not touch" warning, but one word: damn.

Was there in January, and there definitely was not a "no-touch" policy. I would say if there was a policy, it was the opposite of that.

Agreed. The women in there were amazingly hot!

Piss on Spearmint Rhino.

If you don't have at least 1,000.00 to spend when you walk in, they will escort you right back out.

Not true ... the private backroom dances are actually quite reasonable. Glad to hear the old Rhino is back!

Depends on your definition of reasonable.

To each his own, I suppose. I've stayed at both those places, as well as the Bellagio, the Excalibur, Mandalay Bay, the Mirage, and the Luxor. The Palms felt like the best atmosphere for "bachelor party" to me.

However, none are shabby, by any stretch, though if I had to pick the tail end, it would be the Excalibur. Nice hotel, but not as kept up as the others.

Dances out on the floor were $20. That was where touching was frowned on. If you paid $100, you got to go to the back room for three songs. The rules were looser there. And for $200, you could go to the other private room where it was anything goes.

Yes, it was a little pricey, but IMO, you get what you pay for. Cheetah's was way cheaper, but there was also only one hot chick in there. The rest were fat and ugly.

Excalibur is shit. It's like the Knights Inn of Vegas casinos

This is correct....when I was there it was the same deal. And anything truly goes in the $200/room....again not that I know anything about it. Indeed it helps to have bottle service (expect upwards of a $1,000 for a couple fifths of grey goose), but if the Spearmint Rhino is wrong, I don't want to be right.

When i was in vegas (last years world series of poker) the palms was dead and ceasars has the best sports book going right now if you wanted a cheap hotel choice i would go with the flamiago or bally due to their location in the middle of the strip. i would also recommend downtown vegas one night nothing beats the feeling of playing craps in one of the orginal places in vegas. (I was rolling the dice when some guy put 1k on a hard 10 and i hit it and he tossed me 400 just for rolling the dice) If everyone is into poker i would recommend finding one fo the 50$ tourneys they have daily at almost every casio and joining as a group.

Last time i went we stopped at cheetahs and the girls were pretty good especially on the weekend when girls fly in from all over for the extra cash but the rhino is where the hottest of the hot are. Cheetahs had some brazilian with the biggest butt implants I have ever seen and knew how to shake it

Of Vegas casinos, yes. But a Vegas casino is still a Vegas casino.

In other words, some of the worst hotel/casinos in Vegas are still better than a hotel just about anywhere else in the U. S.
