never really thought to take Cincinnati in this one, so of course they'll win :D

Getting blown out by a not very good UCLA team is pathetic. MSU didn't deserve to get into the tournament with the resume they put together, but there is no excuse for them to play this poorly with the talent they have.

UC's up right now 30-24 with 3:50 left in the 1st half. Cashmere Wright is the leading scorer for the cats.

Cincy is playing well

they haven't turned it over much against the pressure and they've made shots

Gotta love Reggie Miller calling out the refs for rewarding K-State with the flop.

He even said he was the king of flopping (which he was) and it was a pathetic call.

poor stretch for Missouri

Cincinnati might end up winning big, they've been very efficient

Utah State looks like a bunch of guys that are about 30-40 years old and they rented the high school gym out for some pickup games.

Looks like all the four last games are 10+ points difference with a half or less to play. If any don't tighten up, looks like all the excitement this first day was in the first 7 games of the day.

Kansas State, though I believe good enough to beat anyone in this tourney, is not capable of pulling away from USU. So I think that game will be a 5 point lead with 5 min left. Gonzaga/Johnnies should go down to the wire. And I can't see UC playing this well the whole 2nd half, I expect a Mizery run here comin soon.

I don't know which match up I would be less excited about Saturday... UConn vs. Cinci or Florida vs. UCLA.

The way Cincy is playing tonight, they can actually take Connecticut.

However, Cincy has overachieved offensively tonight and Connecticut looked amazingly good offensively tonight. That game could be a 15+ point blowout.

UCLA tonight could also hang with Florida, but I think Florida's ability to score outside and UCLA's youth will hurt them against a veteran Donovan squad that has the make-up of a team who is poised to advance far.

Missouri doesn't have any size inside. Bearcats are feasting.

UConn can counter that. They've been a good rebounding team late in the year.

Since it's two Big East teams it will be a battle but I see UConn prevailing.

K-State has so much more than Utah State. Athleticism and firepower.

But Utah State staying close enough.

I don't understand why more of you don't support UC. They are a school in Ohio. I understand you are OSU fans, but why can't you support the Cats when they are not playing OSU head to head. I thought this was an Ohio based message board.

Btw, the team that some of you have said don't belong in the tournament, don't deserve a 6 seed is about to win by double digits.
