Ohio State
Duke
Purdue
Florida
repeat of 2004 in terms of type of games but 2007 in match-ups, OSU beats Duke in thriller 79-78 (real title game), then Florida nips Purdue
setting up championship game that is a total stinker. OSU dominates Florida and the college bball forum becomes insufferable.

I have all 4 #1 seeds. I think Uconn is gonna let a lot of people down and not make it past the 1st weekend.

I hate having the three 1's, but I don't see anyone other than Pitt in the Southeast....

I am about 50-50 on that. I either have them losing the opening weekend, or in the Final Four. I keep going back and forth, and in the end will likely have them in the FF.

Much more realistic. I wouldnt be surprised if the NCAA just combined Elite 8 teams because they both deserve to go to the Final Four. Plus, they will need all the help they can get to beat OSU.

I'm kinda thinking UConn shot their wad in the Big East tourney...could be wrong though. Not sure they'll not make it past the first game though.

he said first weekend. The Arizona game could certainly be their downfall.

This "first four" shit kinda blows...I'm not used to it yet

I'm still deciding about that Pitt region. I really don't feel good about any of those teams. I'm a Pitt fan but I think they'll choke.
Ohio State is the best team. Most balanced.
But I'm going to take Duke to repeat over Kansas in the finals. That late loss to Carolina I think was exactly what they needed. Coach K and the players. And if they get Irving back that's going to give them a huge lift.

Ryne Smith and Kelsey Barlow are likely out this weekend. Moore supposedly had/has mono as well. Might want to reconsider.

UConn certainly looked like a team that's playing it's best ball at the right time.
Walker is a given but their two big guys are rebounding and causing problems with their length and the young kid Lamb is emerging.
We'll see but I don't think they're a fluke. They might be a little bit like Syracuse and Florida when those teams won. Good athletic teams with length.

I played two brackets.
The picks are very similar in each.
Except in one I have Duke over Kansas 70-66
And in the other I have Ohio State over Kansas 77-74
I didn't like Duke late in year but just my gut feeling the past few days is that they have a good shot at a repeat. I think they're rallying after that loss to Carolina. And motivated by people counting them out a little bit.
The Buckeyes have the best look in terms of the eye test but I am wondering if their path might be too tough. They may have to go through Kentucky, North Carolina, Duke and Kansas. A lot of big boys.

I always think that I will be very daring and pick a couple of off the wall teams, but it always turns out that I go with the favorites and I have once again done that. I have all four 1 seeds advancing and Ohio State beating Kansas in the Final. I really think that Ohio State is entirely capable of winning it all, but I will readily admit that the Buckeyes are purely an emotional pick, based on nothing in particular except that they are my favorite team. I also am very wary of Duke and I certainly hope they get eliminated early in an upset.

Lots of people on the UConn bandwagon it looks like. I'm thinking they lose to SDSU. I would be shocked if UConn makes it to the final four.
