Back on topic, I was thinking more and more about the Hickson/Casspi trade and this was my thought. If Thompson develops to be as good as Hickson (worst case scenario IMO, I love his game, loved him at Texas, and he was one of the few I was happy taking at #4), then we essentially drafted Casspi with the 4th pick. Is his ceiling as high as some of the other players we could have taken at 4? Probably not, but he's a hard worker, and he can play the 3, a position at which there was no one to take at pick #4. It's a trade where you have to say "let's see what happens with all the pieces before we can assess" kind of thing.
