Rick Barnes might leave because he LOVES the ACC. He started his coaching in the "big time" at Clemson and is, as far as I know, an East Coast guy. I believe he was at Providence at one point as an assistant, but I am not sure on that. Leaving Texas, though, for NC State, doesn't seem too smart. Not with what is at his disposal at the nation's premier athletic university.
