My bold predictions:
Villanova channels Taylor King by catching fire and shocks Ohio State in a thriller
Belmont knocks off Wisconsin
The Jimmer breaks Loyola Marymount's Jeff Fryer's record for most threes in an NCAA tournament contest (11)
Michigan State reaches the Elite Eight (Tom Izzo's family is probably already in a room in the French Quarter)
Not only does the Big East not not have a team in the Final Four, but they have two (Louisville and Pitt) and one reach the NCAA final: Louisville
UK and Duke meet in the Final Four, the sixth time the two storied schools have met in NCAA tournament history (the last being the 1998 regional finals)
Duke wins the NCAA championship (not that bold for a #1 seed, but I bet many won't pick this)
not looking good at all...

^^Um, no, it is not. Lol.
On a positive note, Duke is still in the tournament. That wasn't exactly a very light branch I went out on, however. If Tom Izzo's family is still in New Orleans, I'd encourage them to get into a boat and head to land and then go back to Michigan.

Rec at least your last 2 can still happen and the last one is the only prediction that really matters.

Ok time for me to man up, unlike many of you.sleeper;710700 wrote:Now is the time to make statements in which you will be called out and have to eat crow. I'll start.
The Big East will have ZERO teams in the final 4.
There is NO CHANCE Duke makes it past the sweet 16.
TWO Big Ten teams will make the elite 8, at least ONE will make the Final Four.
Ohio State will WIN the National Championship.
Go!
2 Big Ten teams did not make the Elite 8.
I did however call Duke being terrible and getting bounced in the Sweet 16. I'd also like any infraction points for saying "Duke sucks" removed because clearly that is now fact.

Can't win 'em all. At least unlike Duke and 99.999% of all other basketball teams, I can look forward to football.

Well looks like I failed on 3 of my 4 predictions. I still say OSU is the best team in the nation, Duke is still terrible, UCONN doesn't deserve whatever they win(I mean shit, when 11 teams from your conference make it, one of them should make the Final 4), and Wisconsin and Purdue shit the bed.
I will note that all 3 teams that beat OSU, Purdue, and Wisconsin are all in the Final 4, so it wasn't like we got any easy wins like the Big East, SEC, or really any other conference.

I will also note that ND and Lousville swept UConn in the regular season... What's your point on "easy wins"? And you don't think UConn deserves it yet you're hyping Kentucky-- the team who UConn blew out earlier in the year... Just admit it- this year's tourney's a crapshoot. I think there weren't really any real "strong" teams this year.
