I have tried a Laser lense cleaner CD and compressed air, and no luck. My son is distraught. Does anyone have any advice?

Yes, there's a flap that opens and the reset is located there...also, make sure the disk itself is clean as you would any cd.

No dice, and now my remotes don't work. Must have been something due to the reset.

my friends wii did this he had to pay like 50 bucks and ship it to nintendo for them to fix it
