I agree that point guard is the only spot where I think an athletic woman could remotely positively impact an NBA game. Their duties would probably just consist of hitting the occasional open three if their defender fell asleep and handling the ball competently and not turning over because they would still have such a hard time getting open or effectively running an offense because they would still give up so much strength and speed to their male counterpart. I would say that the best women players are the equivalent of a good high school player that is not D1 caliber. Maybe Division III or Division II but that's it.
But no way in hell a woman plays in the NBA.

They would redefine the word liability on defense. Ball handling and shooting would be tough for them also--like I said early, don't forget that the ball is bigger, the 3 point line is deeper. Won't happen, a chick would be the worst player on the floor in any NBA game at any position.

In all honesty, it has nothing to do with holding women down or anything like that--I don't care if there is women in the NBA. If they can play then let them play, I really don't care but I don't want to see them force the issue to be politically correct and watch it just be stupid.

They were not spectacular. She was under the rim and dunked and the other she ran, put her hand over her face, removed it, jumped, then dunked. Her dunks were weak and were getting the same amount of points as a dunk that included a windmill, and another 360. This article is as big of a joke as the WNBA. Which pisses me off because the league makes no money yet they parade it around and put it on TV like anyone cares. A rerun of Seinfeld probably gets more viewers then their Championship game.

I have absolutely no problem with a woman out there if she can hold her own, but I just don't see it happening.

Katie Smith at Sg or PG would be the best option....and that was about 10 years ago....though her and Taurasi would be the best fit to do anything at all

He's just trying to sell the WNBA. There's no way in hell a woman would ever play against men in the NBA. Ever. A bad men's college team would destroy the best WNBA team. Could you imagine a woman checking LeBron? She would get hurt.
