I think St. John's won that game by double figures lol.

I laughed soooooo hard when he did that. I turned to my buddy and goes, "he is as high as that rocketship he just launched that shot from". I wish I had been on air for that call, I think it was pretty good lol.

BTW, I dont mean to knock Buford or soil his name. He is a terrific kid, but he lacked quite a bit of smarts in HS, both in the classroom, and with some of the decisions (people he ran with) of the court. He was able to right himself by the time he was a junior, and unfortunately, Nate Miles was not. Miles mightve been in the league already if not for his grades and off court habits. Im glad Billy B was able to finally shake off those demons.

Think they did it pre-game of the state finals of Buford's senior year and later forgot about covering Ray Chambers in the final seconds? :p

Anybody know why Buford shot the tech foul shots and not Diebler?

Nevermind..

I checked the stats and was surprised to see Buford's FT% was higher than Diebler's by a few % points. I think I'd rather see Diebler at the line in that situation.

Diebler has actually been struggling from the FT line lately. And, on the season, Buford shoots 86% to Diebler 82%. And maybe Matta though getting Buford to the line would help his confidence/stroke since he was struggling.

My friends and I laughed about that for months. We'd be playing open gym games or runs at the BG rec center and all-of-sudden just pull up from three-quarters court and yell "Nate Miles" lol; everyone would get so pissed. I had a phone conversation with Norm Waymar (the least interesting man on the planet) about some school thing I was doing at the time and I asked Norm what he thought about Nate's shot from the rocketship. Norm, in his thick, drone of a voice, replied, "Really dumb." Haha I always thought that was bluntly humorous.

I thought that was wrong. Sully has been great for a man his size.

Sonofanump;707869 wrote:Not sure how anyone can argue with that technical foul. Throwing a mouthpiece on the court is an easy call. Not sure why someone going to Northwestern would do something like that, they are better than that.

The Ref spoke Serbian, the mouth piece bounced and hit him in the leg. The call made NO difference in the game, both free throws were missed.

Really??

Wisky- 4/4
MSU-6/6
Purdue-3/3
Ill.-2/2
Indy-5/8
PSU-0/0
Wisky-4/5

24/28= 85.7%
And maybe Matta though getting Buford to the line would help his confidence/stroke since he was struggling.
I could buy this..

Dudette, chill out? A stickler for accuracy, an Inventory Control Manager demands accuracy, jobs depend on accuracy. Being 50% wrong is more than a mistake. It means one is just throwing out garbage. Garbage in garbage out.

Big Gain an inventory control manager (no matter how cool your job may be, it does not require capitalized letters) cannot make such a mistake as to think Kevin Love might play for IU. He already played in the NBA, therefore, he cannot return to intercollegiate athletics.
