After being tipped off by BR in the p90x thread and reading up on it more this weekend I am giving the paleo lifestyle a go. Spent a crap ton at the grocery store today but cutting out when we typically go out to eat it will probably end up evening out. Anyone else other than BR into this? Any good recipes to share?

You'd be amazed at what cavemen ate.

The Paleo Diet is a way of eating in the modern age that best mimics diets of our hunter-gatherer ancestors - combinations of lean meats, seafood, vegetables, fruits, and nuts. By eating the foods that we are genetically adapted to eat, followers of the Paleo Diet are naturally lean, have acne-free skin, improved athletic performance, and are experiencing relief from numerous metabolic-related and autoimmune diseases.
Good enough answer for you?

Didn't cavemen only live to be like 27? I will continue to eat fatty burgers, do meth, and bang hookers....and live to be 108.

Seems like another "do this and you'll magically be one of the beautiful people" diets. Not saying you can't have great success with this, but if anyone does it's probably because they enjoy it and stick with it. The most effective diets are ones with healthy options that you do. Really doesn't matter which one you do as long as you're making intelligent food choices and staying with them.

That's true. My wife and I already eat right 90% of the time. I don't see the big deal in trying out new healthy ways to eat.

So only eating meat probably works if you have to run from dinosaurs a couple of times a day just to survive. Eating like a caveman then sitting in front of your Mac Book all day might not show the results for you it did for early Homo Sapiens.

Yeah, I said Homo,
