congrats indeed. have fun for the first 2 years because if she's anything like my daughter from then on, mommy sucks and daddy is the only thing that can calm her down.

Thanks guys! It was a loooonnnnggggggg process but we're both healthy (although tired) and recovering well. Thankfully, she was only 8lbs 5oz,which was well under the estimates!

"ONLY 8 lbs 5 oz"? If one of us guys had to birth to something size of a kiwi fruit, we'd be on disability for a year.. :)

8 lbs, 5 oz would have been the lightest birthweight of my brothers and me by over a pound, so.....

I believe baby SEJ was early and would have weighed more had she carried her to term.

We'll have her set up just as soon as she figures out how to use her hands :)


She was about 2 weeks early, and estimates had her around 10 lbs so I was more than happy to have her be such a lil peanut!

She is beautiful, sej! You don't even know yet how much fun you're going to have with her. Babies are the best. I'm so ready to be a Grandma I can't stand it.
