Contest was real and the reason was to prove that some people would claim to like a particular team or in this study,a cheap beer just so they can claim to be rooting for a winner. The voting proved that by showing that once yuengling was ahead in the poll, everyone started voting for that brand just so they could be part of the winning group in the poll.This happens everyday in todays society with sports teams.There is no loyality with society today.
I did this contest for a buddy at work who needed it for an assignment he had in one of his classes.

You did not obtain a sufficient sample size and failed to control for extraneous factors. Your research fails to show any correlation, let alone causation.

Sample size was sufficient,around 100.The extraneous factors with this group were good enough considering that most are male and they claim to like beer but the problem is I could not ask that they have an IQ over 120 because that would have made the study nonexistent.So you work with what you have available.I would think that the correlation would be cheap and beer. people with cheap taste in beer seldom turn down free beer.I was asked to post the contest for him and he was paying for the free beer.I do believe he had other people post on other sites also but I don't know those results.Mulva;699781 wrote:You did not obtain a sufficient sample size and failed to control for extraneous factors. That would be great if I had a 'loyalty' to any beer. And I'm a Browns and Wolverines fan, so there goes that theory too.
