That's normal price for me so...

Actually, that's double since I usually hit the matinees.

One of the few good things about Alliance.

Our matinees are around $7 or $8. Regular price is $10. This is a steal for me.

Movies around here are $12-15 regularly and $9ish for a matinee so yeah this is a good deal for me.

I do miss the dollar theater in Mansfield, though. When I was in high school it was $1 all the time and .50 on Tuesdays. The movies were good, too...right out of the regular theater. They charge a bit more now but it's still a great deal.

Matinees at the Cinemark in Alliance are $2.25, regular price is $4.50. For 3D films I think it's an extra dollar or two, can't remember which.

These are new releases, it's awesome.

Yeah...the theater close to me is overpriced and overall, it is pretty shitty. I usually drive to Canton and pay the same for a much nicer theater.

I agree, the dollar theater in Mansfield wasn't a very nice place. Although you can't argue that it stung the wallet less than the other theater.

We used to have a dollar theater in Newark. That place was outstanding.

There is a cheap theater in Cincinnati at one of the malls but it isn't worth the time and gas to drive there.

It never bothered me, lol. It was $1...I can deal with a dirty theater. Plus this was 10+ years ago. It wasn't that bad.
