The line at the 5th Ave Apple store in Manhattan was crazy long. I heard a girl was 2nd in line sold her spot for a grand lol. Not only do you drop $1000 on a fucking SPOT, but then you can spend another $500 on the super iPad 2. That guy must have REALLY wanted that thing on release day.

I heard from my Best Buy stores that most of the people buying the iPad 2 either already had an iPad or were buying it to sell it on eBay.
