East of downtown? That is the only lowlying area I can think of in the village.

For those familiar with the Alliance area, my girlfriend just e-mailed me and said the car lot on Rt 62, going into Alliance, next to the Duke & Dutchess gas station was flooded so bad that the used cars are actually floating out onto Rt 62. This info was relayed to her by her mom.

Way to go you stupid jerk.

A buddy of mine is from Shelby. When I went to the area for his wedding, he drove me downtown (down a hill) where it flooded really bad a few years back he said.

My parents live in Midwest Ohio (Auglaize County) and said their yard was about ankle deep. Their basement flooded a little bit but luckily nothing was ruined.

The first three pics I posted are downtown Shelby. They get it much worse than Plymouth. There Huron River and some small creeks run through Plymouth so there is some flooding occasionally but nothing as bad as Shelby.

I 75 was closed in a few locations this morning (4am in Lima) and just north of Findlay at around 5:30- 6 am). It's been closed in both directions at the 140 mile marker since about 10 am, I just went over the Bently Road over pass, and it looks like they are about to open it back up there in an hour or so. Downtown Bluffton if under in places, and I'm sure Findlay will be drowned later today!

Findlay is starting to get bad in most of the flood areas, main street is still fairly empty though (which will change tonight).

Carey's usual areas are flooded once again.

Both places took precautionary measures so I think everyone should be in good shape. They had sandbags ready for anyone who needed them. The river was about ready to bust when I drove by it at 5 pm so hopefully everyone is okay tonight.

I heard on the radio here in SD that they are expecting flooding in all 88 counties of Ohio.

Bad news. Meanwhile, we still have 20+ inches of snow on the ground and it's supposed to stay freezing (some) while also we wait for more snow that's bound to come in March and April.

In Auglaize County and we had hundreds evacuated from a trailer park and other areas near the river. Grand Lake St. Marys also has flooding in the areas surrounding it. South of St. Marys there is was an oil slick in the flood waters officials saw from a flyover. Not surprising given the oil that is located in that area.

It will be very interesting to see if this has longer term effects on Grand Lake via runoff and the like.

Looks like Findlay is going to get it again. Predicted at 17.5 ft, would put the Blanchard river at it's 3rd highest recording ever.
