So what do the chatter critics think? Saw it last night and it was pretty funny. They had some really hysterical scenes. I'd give it a 7/10.

I'm fascinated that Hall Pass and Cedar Rapids came out at the same time. They are basically the same movie, but Hall Pass has more star power.

Saw it yesterday as well and I thought it was pretty funny, didn't go more than 5 minutes at a time without laughing. If I had abs they'd probably be sore today.

I may check it out. I don't think the previews make it look that funny so I will am hoping to be impressed.

I agree the previews don't make it look all that funny. But it was especially the bathroom scene. I literally almost pissed my pants and the entire theatre was laughing at that minutes after it happened.

Surprised for a couple reasons

1. Farrelly Brothers movie
2. The jacuzzi scene

Not Irish just not akin to seeing cock on screen. I didn't pay to be treated to that scene. Good grief

Big whoop. Women have to deal with naked chics in movies all the time. A dick is a dick. You must never have been in a lockerroom, eh?

Male nudity huh? I obviously don't care to see it but as long as its quick and out of the way like in Shutter Island I can deal with it.

Saw it Friday...didn't think it was that great. Maybe I expected too much from it, but I thought most of the funny parts were in the previews.

It is getting poor reviews, but most of what I have read is that the critics didn't like all the low-brow humor. That won't bother me.

Yeah, the low brow humor wouldn't bother me either. I just don't think it looks that good. Which is shocking because I usually like Owen Wilson.

I generally like anything that the Farrelly brothers do. (except Stuck on You). There's Something about Mary, Dumb and Dumber, and Shallow Hal are all personal favorites. Throw in the fact that I like the only character that Owen Wilson is ever able to play and you have a deadly combination for me. I tend to think I'll like this movie.

Yeah, I generally dig anything the Farrelly Brothers put out also but I just don't think it looks that great from the previews. I will give it a shot though based on their past flicks.

Scenes from the previews look awful; doesn't look funny at all. Maybe I'll redbox it when it comes out on dvd.

I'm going to check it out today. Mainly because Take me Home Tonight is only playing at 7 and 9 and I have to do an early date with the broad I have been talking to. I have low expectations so I guess we shall see.
