Ho Ho's, Sam Adams, and pizza before and after I sit on the couch.

Actually I need to start working out again. How does Universal N1-t work? I see its herbal, is it a pill or a drink. Obviously you think it works... Do you notice any difference when you don't take it or now compared to when you didn't take it?

I'm heading into my mid 40's and am starting to feel like my testosterone may be declining. Gaining weight easier and harder to take it off. I still wake up like an 18 year old so I am not worried about anything south of the border. (TMI)

Dymatize Elite protein. I blend the chocolate with almond milk and ice. Tastes like a frosty. Outstanding.

As you get older, every advantage you can get helps. At age 43 my body doesn't react/recover like it used to.

I take Jack3D, creatine, a post workout recovery drink, glutamine, DHEA (and a couple others to decrease cortisol production), CLA and a bunch of regular vitamins (D, C, etc)

I actually think that professional athletes should be able to get presciption doses of steroids and HGH. I understand that "safe doses" have not been determined but I am sure that low levels can have positive medicinal effects if used properly.

All you need is 4-5 well planned meals a day and you can recieve all the supplements you want without any health risk or expensive medical bills.Protein supplements are good but some of the other is dangerous and I can attest to that with numerous hospital visits when I lived in florida years ago and medical bills because of kidney and liver damage along with a heart that won't get better.I used to think that the more I took the better it would be until my problems and after researching a bunch of stuff that the makers of some of these products don't tell you, because they are not regulated. You just have to work hard and stick to a plan making it a lifestyle not something you just do on the weekends.

Good Luck

Another thing that I think you should think about is cost, some of my buddies that I lifted with spent more per month on these products than they did on their car payment.Just think if you spend about $300.00 a month on supplements,in a year that's over $3000.00 a year that could be used to pay your house down or other bills.I know some of you may think I am just ranting but in the long run it will make a difference in your life.

I take a Mens one-a-day multivitamin and drink a glass of choc milk after my Insanity/P90x workouts

I used some whey protein in my first year of college ball, mostly because alot of my teammates were using it. I tried it again for a week when I started P90x but that only lasted a day. Never really been a fan of taking that stuff

Not a fan of supplements.

I try to take some herbs though. They are natural remedies. I take feverfew to try and prevent migraines.

N1-t is a pill, you take two a half hour before you lift and two before bed. At this point I have only been on it for a little over a week, but that along with the jack3d seems to allow me to get more reps in of weights a little higher than I was at about 2 weeks ago (i.e. i would bench 170 5 times on my final set and now am at 185 for 6 on my final)

there are also other similar products, the one i have in mind is ZMA which is what i will buy the next go around (not that n1-t is bad i just want to see which is better). Both are relatively cheap (90 pills for about $15)

That's being conservative with my estimate.
A good whey protein cost. About $80.00 x 2
A decent Creatine will cost over $120.00
and then you can add all they other pre and post workout and then before bed and first thing after waking up supplements and you are well over $300.00 easy.

You should see what some of the pro bodybuilders take. Probably a good $300-500 a month, before roids. Start calculating in their illegal stuff and they're probably looking at upwards of $5000-10000, or more, per month. Add in groceries and they either need a really good sponsor (endorsements) or a rich girlfriend to mooch off of.

I don't really count protein as a supplement. If you're lifting it helps. When I'm not in a lifting program I don't take anything because I don't like the other stuff. Protein is about where I stop at. Nothing against people that do (although if you take steraroids you're a tool).

I think as time goes by you're going to see steroids/HGH become more acceptable among the common man. I'm not talking athletes/bodybuilders who might use excessive amounts of the stuff.

These "anti-aging clinics" where they regulate testosterone/growth hormone levels are popping up all over the place.

As I'm sure many know, once the male body hits about age 25 testosterone/growth hormone levels start to drop. The decrease in test often raises cortisol levels which is where you see a lot of abdominal fat in dudes. These clinics raise the HGH/test levels back to normal. It's unbelievable to see 60+ year old men going from beer gut to shredded. The biggest issue with these clinics is making sure they keep the hormone levels in check so prostate issues don't arise.

I'm not advocating that people go out and use the stuff but for the older man, the stuff can probably prolong their lives. I'm sure they'll continue to research it.

anyone use animal pak? I have a full container of it that I probably won't use if anyone is interested. Sells for around $50 but I'd be willing to unload it for less than that. I don't lift like I used to and I won't use it.
