Beers is an impressive athelete, he is set to have a huge year. With Riley coming into his second year as QB, I also expect big things from him as a QB and a leader. This years team will have strong senior leadership

Stetler and whiting both said the portage trail conference has a signed application for northwest to join the ptc.

Not going to happen, just wishful thinking on my part. But the real story is this, the boys are getting mentally and physically conditioned for the fight this coming season. The HARDCORE training is making this group of Indians more of a team then past years. Good luck to whomever crosses their path this fall.

So it could have been something good, huh? I heard that we were going to be loaded for a couple of years. JVs and Freshmen teams looked good, from my understanding.

Yes should be pretty good the next couple of years. The schedule will make them battle tested this year and next. I think that we should see a lot of potential coming from the incoming Sr and Jr classes. The O-line will be much improved, a typical Whiting line. Defensive wise I expect the most out them.
Camps start in two weeks for the linemen. Toledo, NFLHSPD and Akron. This will help them learn even more.
Heard on another site that the PTC may be looking for more teams. Also the old METRO league may be forming. But like our AD said at one time, these are all rumors and he too would like to be married to a super model. I still like a venture into the OCC with an East and West format. Then again I must be on crack!

Less than 3 months from Week 1 @ Orrville. A good opening week test for both teams.
Peeked at your guys schedule this year....tough. The life of an independant is one that Orrville knows very well. No off weeks.

I love that week 1 matchup! Two very tough programs. I would love to see this as one of those Thursday Night Games. The game would draw a huge crowd.
The schedule is tough, but if a team and staff can handle it, its definately Northwest. There is a lot of excitement around the program this year.

Great job boys at Glen Oak! The cupboard is not bare! Beers, Riley, Pribonic, Pawlyk and West all did well. Some more but I don't know their names. I think one was a NW wrestler.

We usually have a couple great skill players, but this year could be the deepest I can remember. Lots of weapons for Riley.

Anyone have updates on how Riley did at the NFL 7 on 7? Been out of town for a couple of days. First blood will be tiger blood. Can't wait until Friday August 25th to see the Riders and Indians battle it out. This really should be a later date. Maybe Wooster will give up football and stick to soccer. Then that way Orrville and the Indians could battle it out in let's say a game called the "Battle of Back Orrville Rd."

Orrville looks very fast . and there linebackers look pretty put together. will have to see if we can out sprint them. Beers , Pawylk , Harris , Tesch will have to be ready to run.

7 on 7 does not test anything. No pads, no real contact. We'll see what happens with pads on August 13th. I think that the Tiggers will feel some pain.
