Sounds good. I wasn't aware they had a new album coming out. Is This It was one of my favorites.

I love The Strokes. I'm pretty excited for the new album. It will probably leak soon if it hasn't already.

They are giving a free concert in Austin the week of SWSX, I think 3/18. The sucky thing is that I will be leaving Austin back to Ohio a few days prior. The Strokes are the best active rock band going, IMO.

I would definitely postpone that trip..I'll be seeing them at Bannarroo this summer, pretty stoked for it

My two kids under two need us back home. I think they'd be able to find the cereal in the cabinets, but there's no way they can work the TV remote.

You and I both. I'm far more excited for Arcade Fire and Mumford & Sons though. Plus The Black Keys, The Decemberists, Florence + The Machine, Iron & Wine, My Morning Jacket....and The Strokes. It's going to be fantastic.

Although the $90 I paid last August to see Mumford & Sons, Frightened Rabbit, MGMT, and then Arcade Fire is pretty much unbeatable.

I'm going to see Arcade Fire and The National in Chicago on 4/22 and The Decemberists here in Columbus on 4/23 for a bit of a warm up tour. :D

Strokes new album was leaked today, and you can hear it all on youtube. It's definitely electronic so to speak, but it's still got the Strokes style. It will take a few listens, but it's definitely a good album so far.

Salve! Hi all! Itsa mi Roberto Brewskimi!! First off, I come to U.S. from Italia and I love The Strokes. They just as popular in Europe as they are here in U.S. Look forward to there new CD and will be purchase even though it leak already! Ciao!

Best Album: Is This It

Favorite Songs (Not including new album): Someday, Hard to Explain, Take It or Leave It, Reptilia, Modern Age, Between Love and Hate, and Clear Skies (Not on any Album)

Live Performances (Youtube them): "Take It or Leave It" on Letterman (MUST SEE), "Someday" on Letterman and "Someday" Live at T-Park (Julian absolutely hammered for this one), "Life is Simple in the Moonlight" on SNL the other week, and then pretty much anything from their T-Park performances.

Not to be outdone...kanye announces free show at the power plant and it fills up in an hr LOL...sidenote - yelawolf rocked the pants off harry truman high school at fader fort tonight!!!!!!
