It was like he was playing with the L.A. Lakers tonight. And he got whistles like he was playing for the L.A. Lakers. Kobe was going for MVP tonight. It was that obvious. I think my three-year-old son knew it."/QUOTE]

So according to you Amare, who shoots 19.4 shots per game, has the ball in his hands a MINIMUM of 20 times. Kobe then has to have the ball in his hands 200 times a game even though the average # of possessions in an NBA game is around 100 and Kobe sits on the bench an average of 15 minutes of each game. Mind= Blown
Kevin Garnett is the same type of player as Amare only he averages 4.1 apg for his career. Amare is a blackhole when he gets the ball and should never be calling anyone out for not Supposedly passing.Hb31187;686537 wrote:Lol obviously I didnt mean literally 10 mores times, but if thats what you have to do to make yourself feel better then so be it.
Kobe is a star SG, who drives and dishes. Amare is a pick and pop or pick and roll big man who screens and finishes. A Star SG is gonna average more assists then a star PF 99/100 times, so bragging that Amare averages less assists than Kobe really is kinda retarded
http://www.sbnation.com/nba/2011/2/4/1973237/kobe-bryant-black-holeHe's more of a black hole than Monta Ellis, Tyreke Evans and Jamal Crawford. Think about that. Kobe passes less frequently given his shot levels than Jamal Crawford. That doesn't make Kobe any less valuable to his team, or a lesser player than anyone on the chart -- Wade, I'd argue, is more valuable than all but a few of players further from the black hole than he. And that's perhaps where the idea of a player as a black hole is most misunderstood: it cannot be used plainly as pejorative. A player is not bad or overrated or a jerkface because he doesn't pass much. It's not a value judgment, it's a style judgment, a classification.
It is, however, in Kobe's case a fair judgment. If any guard in the NBA is a black hole, it's Kobe.

My God, if there was ever a "shoe on the other foot" moment.
