I haven't watched an episode in 4 weeks - no spoilers (please!) but hopefully Dwihgt makes an appearance.

Of course he does, anyone with the strength of a grown man....and a little baby, has to be in this episode.

I like how it had a cameo of everyone from the past...Todd Packer, Karen, Jan, Carol, that little short guy (Goldenface's sidekick) that was actually Ryan's friend they partied with in NYC.

Does anyone know how long until Michael leaves?

Also. . . maybe I missed this, but I had no idea Will Ferrell will be joining the show!

Ferrell, a long-time friend and co-star of Carell -- the two featured together in 'Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy' -- will join the workplace comedy for a four episode arc near the end of this season.

I thought he left at the end of the season and the point of Ferrell is that he will be taking his place.

This was a hilarious episode. I had basically given up on this show, but I was cracking up throughout this entire episode.

I don't see how NBC can afford Ferrell. particularly for a show this old. If this is correct (the 4 episode arc) it could be really, really good...or really, really bad. For a show that is supposed to take place in "reality" (Conan O'Brien shows up as himself, conversations about Hillary Swank, etc.) it is very odd for someone as famous as Ferrell to play anyone other than himself.

I read somewhere, can't remember where, that Ferrell will be coming in to help usher out Michael. Like for 2 episodes they will both be on, and for 2 it will just be Ferrell.

I loved the part where Michael was training for the NHL All-Star game and he was lifting weights, grunting and sweating to the 80's music like it was Rocky IV all over again.

That was pretty funny, David Koechner's line nearly killed me along with Jim's reaction. I thought the episode was clever, although I can see how it can be polarizing. To fully appreciate it you would have had to have watched all of the previous seasons....and it seems like a desperate attempt to stay fresh when most of the storylines are so stale. But it was my favorite episode in the last two seasons for sure.

BTW my wife just watched it on dvr, she said it was the best episode she's seen in years.

The Michael/Holly thing was a little odd, but otherwise was pretty solid.

Agreed. If anything I was expecting Holly to get upset because Jan was in the movie. It seemed out of her character for her not to like the movie. I wouldn't be surprised if she had her own movie since she acts like him half the time.

I didn't realize Ferrell was going to be in 4 episodes. I thought it was just sort of a one time thing.

It's intriguing that he'll be in 4 episodes though. Maybe he will replace Carrell? I had kind of thought that Ricky Gervais was going to take over. Not sure now.

As for this episode, I did laugh a few times, and it was better than a few of the more recent offerings, but to me it just seemed like they were trying really really hard.
