So if the policy becomes punching every baby that comes through they're just doing their job right?

and neither do they. but instead you'll just continue to insult them, probably making yourself feel a tiny bit bigger...

just doing their job when their job is right = doing right. see how that works, not everyone thinks their job is wrong.

Surpise, captain "I love authority figures" thinks the TSA is a bunch of nice people doing us a service.

Although you are much less of a homer for authority figures than some on here are a detractor of them (cops in particular).

That's what people say when they support policies but have no reason to support those policies because they don't make sense.

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
I call having some government agent put his hands underneath my clothing and physical touch my genitals unreasonable. I call being subject to dangerous x rays by incompetent McDonald's rejects unreasonable. Almost 11 years later and this country is still scared shitless of the bogeyman. The TSA isn't protecting anyone at the airport from anything, and if you think they are you need to educate yourself. Stop being a sheep and wake the fuck up.

At best they're wasting a fuckload of taxpayer money (hilarious that the people supporting this type of crap tend to be the ones harping about spending in other areas). At worst they're sexually assaulting us and giving us cancer.

There is no upside.

Agreed. Anyone who wants to see the stupidity of the TSA on need to browse this forum. Anyone who spends 10 minutes on that site can easily see the massive failure that is the TSA. This is doing nothing but conditioning the American public to accept more and more intrusions into their person and life.

I mean, I know you feel your rights are being violated (as do I) but please keep it to a personal level. They are not violating the 4th because you agree to the search when you buy your ticket.

That's bullshit and you know it. Nowhere on that ticket does it say you agree to anything. If you buy a ticket, now they get to strip search you?

It's not bullshit. You can contract away just about every right you have. You know the policies. You buy a ticket, you agree to the policies that are in place. You are not being ambushed on the street and being asked to do these things. You agree to them in advance. Don't like it? Write your congressman and in the meantime don't fly.

I feel like TSA is keeping me safe. I mean, I can sneak across the border to Canada without a passport but I can't get a damn sno-globe past TSA. Like hawks, those TSA folks!
