Knight, so you are saying that Wake Forest could beat Oregon? A 5-7 Wake Forest team that beat Stanford who then later went on to beat Oregon.
We can play this dumbass who beat who crap all day long if you want too.
Yes, OSU wouldn't finish as high as USC in the PAC10. Since the PAC10 is doing such a great job in the bowl games lol.
As long as OSU plays physical football like they have been recently they will win against Oregon.

OSU got drilled by Texas and USC the past two times? No, they lost that is correct but no team gets drilled when they lead the game with under 2 minutes left. Hell, they only lost to LSU by 14 that is hardly getting drilled but once again keep looking like a douchebag.
I'll be here if OSU loses, but they won't.
5-3, keep trolling lil bitch. Next time lay off the caps button not nice to yell via typing.

So OSU's 14 pt loss to LSU in a game where 14 was the lowest the lead was since 4 mins left in the second quarter is not getting drilled? But Ohio State steamrolled Notre Dame by 14 in a game where 14 was the largest lead and was actually down to 7 when OSU had 2 or 3 third and long's from deep on their own side of the field with a couple minutes left? I'm not attacking you devil, for I'm pretty sure you agree that OSU didn't steamroll ND, I'm trying to prove to others here.devil1197 wrote: OSU got drilled by Texas and USC the past two times? not when osu wins by 14. that is beyond steam rolling. if osu wins by 3 now that is steam rolling in the buckeye nationathlete37 wrote:So OSU's 14 pt loss to LSU in a game where 14 was the lowest the lead was since 4 mins left in the second quarter is not getting drilled? Why do I explain the losses, they happened not denying that.
But come Jan 1st, OSU will once again be a BCS winner including a 5-3, 11-2 season, Top 5 ranking next season, and you won't have more than two posts on the thread after about 9 pm on Jan 1st.

This game is quite simple.....
If OSU hold Oregon to 21 or less...they win
If Oregon scores 28+.....they will win going away

I just read this whole thread for the first time since it was first started and I am still unsure about next week's game. Few thoughts:
Athlete, I do not consider the victory over Notre Dame in the 2006 Fiesta a blowout. I never thought the final outcome was in doubt (much like OSU vs Michigan 2006-2009), but it was hardly a blowout. LSU vs. OSU was, in essence, a blowout. Despite the final score. I was pleased with how they finished the game but that didn't excuse the crapfest put on in the first half of that game.
The poster above has issues. Serious ones.

We were one play away in each game, and realistically, had that last USC TD been reviewed like it should have been, we'd have won that game, but I digress.
I don't like to make excuses because we did lose both games, but we hardly got "drilled" in either of those games.

The statement you just responded to is proof that he is doing nothing more than flaming on this thread, Browns.
Any rational non-biased human who actually watched either of those games can tell you that OSU wasn't drilled. I believe even Texas and USC fans would agree.
OSU fans on this thread have fully admitted they were drilled @ USC, vs. Florida and vs. LSU. It has been addressed. Move on to new flaming topic.

I am not making excuses just pointing out some facts....You must not have watched any USC football after they played Ohio State. They have not had the same starting offense or defense in any of there games....

Bowl games have sucked so far. I hope New Years day will turn that with a big OSU win. It will be a tough test for our D, but the pac 10 has not looked great this far so we will see.

I'm guessing this is what Oregon will wear....unless they do something special that we haven't seen yet.

I don't think they go "ninja" because it's all black. Gotta have some green in it.
Who knows though, I was reading on UniWatch that their coach likes to keep it quiet until the day of the game.

I didn't think Oregon ever wore the same uniform twice?
I'm getting really excited for this game, because I really don't know how it will play out. After the early bowl season, the Pac 10 hasn't proven to be that great.
I'm interested to see how Wisconsin matches up with Miami tonight, and this it's one of the games the Big 10 MUST win to gain some credibility back.
As for the OSU vs. Oregon game. I think Oregon has the potential to blow out OSU. But I think OSU finds a way to get stops and keeps the game within reach into the fourth quarter, and then Pryor will HAVE to make some plays. I just don't know if he's capable or not.
After this game, it will either be a really long offseason after another big game loss for the Bucks, or generate a lot of excitement heading into next season with high expectations!

IMO there is no way Oregon wins by blowing out the Buckeyes. Defense is way too strong and they haven't seen anything close. Could they break a big play or two? Yeah they probably will. But the overall strength of the defense will win this game for tOSU. Getting pumped!

I didn't think Purdue would do what they did to the OSU offense, but they did.
My fear is that Buckeye fans have this false sense of the defense. What good offense did OSU play all year? They played Purdue and got exposed. USC isn't a good offense, and it was Barkley's first road game. Penn State looked terrible on offense and Iowa was without their starting QB and their backup played pretty well.
OSU should be able to shut down most of the Big 10 on talent alone.

OSU had 5 turnovers against Purdue. 5
Did Purdue cause all of them? Hell no. Completely uncharacteristic game.

they played Purdue and got exposed? so I'm assuming by this comment that you feel Purdue is an offensive juggernaut??? OSU played bad,had five turnovers, and lost--period. USC wasn't a good offense when they played OSU,with an Oline considered the best in the country,a running back who's a stud, and a QB who was too inexperienced to realize where he was,but still talented enough to drive them to the winning TD??..it wasn't OSU's defense that was the problem that night--it was an ineffective offense that lost that game. Please, don't disrespect the OSU defense--they've been awesome all year, and they'll be awesome on January 1st
