Is it that you don't know how to read, you don't know how to follow orders, or you think orders just don't apply to you?

^THANK YOU.
Anyways, Ursuline has some nice talent coming back, and that Thigpen kid looks amazing. Time will tell.

Go play in the d1 playoffs its not fair to d5 public schools who get their butts kicked everytime they play you and cant do anything about it!

Look at their schedule this year. Good players wanna play at good schools.

After seeing The Irish's schdule, they may be in for a rough regular season...
That being said, i still feel they will fare very VERY well in the playoffs.

Could Be But the Devils Are Loaded. I mean Loaded... There is a Patton Two Hughes Brothers once again. and Size and skill. This could be. let me rephrase that it will be the year for a deep run. A kicker that can kick a country Mile. Speed Speed Speed Mixed with loads of experience should prove to be the factor. Ursuline will fair well in the regular season. It would not surprise me they go undefeated again. They are my Biggest fear. I don't think its right for them to be in a division so low. I make no bones about it. But i cant help but to get pumped up at a game like that. It has been many many years since A Campbell Ursuline YSU playoff game.

If Ursuline goes Undefeated, there's no shot at anyone in d 5 beating them. Have you seen the schedule?
That being said, i feel they'll finish with 6 or 7 regular season wins, with a deep run into the playoffs. It would be great to see a team from the area compete with the Irish though, sadly it just doesnt happen anymore.

Even though this was a old reply im gonna replay back.

Ohio your a troll that never contributes to any post. You should have been banned a long time ago. First trying so hard? Campbell didn't try nothing that was the problem. And with nobody wanting to go to Campbell is a Joke. And what are you Nostradamus years late? Campbell has two playoff straight runs. Second nobody tried to keep Patton in Campbell. If they want to go We let them. and Last there is another Patton that is attending and going to play football this year. Although he is not Darius Patton but he is a Patton none the less. and Athleticism is in all Patton's blood. He will brake out this year as a starter. If he stays and from what it looks like he should. Don't Worry about Campbell this year. We will be Just fine.

Don't put faith in the kid because of his name. I can promise that this is not going to be good. He is no Darius, on or off the field.

darius came and watched a campbell practice, wanted to come to campbell...did choose to enroll and told the staff. his father made a decision for his sons best interests and overruled that decision. of course we wouldve gladly accepted him, but lets not make this into a long drawn out recruitment. it was not even known by anyone in the area that he was moving here until a week before he enrolled at poland...

I agree with Spread All Day on his opinion. The kid has a knack for finding trouble or trouble finding him. We'll see if he is in camp or not come late July.

Campbell has an All-Ohio tailback returning along with three solid linemen who gained experience last season. My guess is two of those three will be asked to go both ways this coming season. They do have to replace two outstanding linebackers, one of whom doubled as an excellent blocker for the tailback from his fullback position. The other LB also was an excellent guard on offense. Campbell also has to replace its quarterback and two wide receivers. It's true, the kids up front are going to be big. But I believe one or two of them will be sophomores who will be experiencing varsity football for the first time.
The kicking game will be a plus. The defense is going to be tested and needs to improve over last season. I see Campbell having another successful season. But competing with Ursuline in the playoffs will be a very tough task, should that come to fruition.

Yeah the whole Darius Patton thing is old news. I mean His dad stepped on his own blood. I know his other son is not all that great of a player. But from everything i hear he has the potential. Its just that he is a big problem. I also heard a kid from Ursuline Is playing for Campbell this year.

Dominic Patton is fast. But he does not have the moves his brother Darius has. He does have potential, provided he can keep his head on straight, come to practices, and listen. I believe the transfer from Ursuline was previously at Campbell. He has LB size, similar to that of Sikora and Benedis. I can't remember his name.

Agreed. I'd be pretty surprised if they run the table with that schedule.

Thigpen will be the tailback this year, has some experience.
Rumors of the oline coach leaving are unknown to me.
The transfer to Campbell played Jv i believe.. No big deal.

Spread, who will be the Irish QB? Despite the fact that the transfer only played jayvee for Ursuline does not matter. A body is a body for a small public school like Campbell. Depth is often a factor at Campbell. And if he is talented enough, he'll fill a hole on offense, defense, and maybe special teams. We'll take him.

I guess you're right.
The state of the Irish quarterback is really on a hush hush at the moment. I'm also wondering the same thing.

Think i seen a Preview on a local news channel. Al they have to do is find a good replacement for Mr Ohio and they are the same exact team. They are stacked with seniors i believe they said 17 or 18 Letterman. they are loaded again. the teams they played last year will be given a very daunting task again. i only see a few area teams that might hang around with them. as far as anyone they played last year good luck to them there gonna need it. And i am not even a Ursuline fan by no means. They also have two backs that had over 600 years and didn't carry much with Mr Ohio! so that should worry teams that they have to play...

I am VERY excited for this season! Do I think they CAN go undefeated? Yes. However, I think they will lose once or twice this year, but not at home at Stambaugh.

Worth noting that North Catholic, now split from St. Christine's, is sporting these fabulous green/gold Under Armour uniforms. North Catholic has around 35 players, even without the presence of St. Christine's on the team. Next year's Ursuline freshmen team will have nearly 25+ players as there are a large number of Ursuline kids playing at St. Christine's. They should be stacked with talent.
