Is this more of a personal vendetta of sorts or are you truly anti-union in both working sectors because of ideological differences?
For myself, I used to belong to a union - AFL-CIO. I know firsthand that they can hurt you just as much as they ever could help you. The union(s) tend to cut their nose off to spite their own faces too many times. I also think that they have outlived their usefulness, as I and many others have stated repeatedly.
I don't know if ideology (I'm guessing you mean political ideology) has so much to do with it. I mean, I'm sure it could for SOME people, but in the main... nah. After all, there are even liberals for this bill, not just conservatives.
I mean, it's kinda ballsy at this point to ask for job security (among other things) when the people who have to pay for it have none of their own and are barely scraping by, don't ya think? That has nothing to do with political affiliation.
I don't know why unionization was even brought into the public sector to begin with, but I guess somebody thought it was a good idea.
