Surprised this wasn't mentioned already. Miguel Cabrera was arrested for DUI in Florida. From some of the things he said, he has a lot of issues.

He apparently also made some comments about killing someone but that wasn't in that ESPN post.

Carlos Guillen would have me worried about him. Those are some strong words to put in the press.

As for my fantasy team, that fucker better knock this sit off! Although last time he had the issue he produced an MVP season, so maybe this will up his game again.

I think he had everyone fooled with the way he worked last off season and came into camp in great shape and all.

I think he was so embarrassed that he was abel to stay clean all of last year. It looks like he fell back into his ways this offseason though. But from all reports, he was clean in 2010.

Well, when you are an alcoholic it's probably not smart to be driving around in a 200k Bentley. It took him this long to get caught so he was doing something right.

I'm worried about the Rangers. They didn't do what they needed to do which was add a starter who could eat some innings. If the start messing around trying to make Neftali Feliz a starter they are really screwed.

I think they will be fine. Their only real competition should be the Angels. Angels can pitch, but I wonder how good their offense will be?

I'm expecting another .500 season from Oakland (solid pitching, no hitting) because their pitching is a tier below Anaheim's.

and Seattle, is well, Seattle.

Texas doesn't have the same amount of pitching as the Angels, but their bats are far better than Anaheim's. That to me suggests it will be back and forth all season

Someone made the mistake of not parking their car in the tents. Heyward hit it today.

One of the better quotes I've read so far this ST from Braves OF Jordan Schafer:

“We’ll see,” said Schafer, 24, unable to contain a smile when asked about his work so far. “How do I feel? Like fucking success. Unbelievably good."

And he participated fully today in the workout. Of course he is going to feel some discomfort 6 months removed from ACL surgery. Doesn't mean he should hang it up during the season. He will probably get 2 off days a week and won't be in the pinch hitting role that Griffey was in last year.

Even with the ACL injury Chipper is in much better shape to be a contributer now then Griffey was last year.

Come get me a few weeks into the season after he plays in wet, 40-50 degree weather. Everybody feels good when it is 70 degrees, sunny, and low intensity.

I'm not a Chipper hater. My point was that he has been extremely injury prone the last couple of years, had major surgery, and was coming off a season where he scuffled half of the season. All those things equal me being surprised that he was returning.
