Going down there for a week in March, figured one or two huddlers would have frequented the area and could give me an idea or two about some good restuarants to try

Never understood these types of questions. Get down there and ask a local for a recommendation, they would know far better than anyone who frequents an Ohio based message board.

And it's not like Chicago, a place that many people have been to. It's Fort Myers.

Skip One Seafood. Dirt Cheap, and they have all you can eat grouper nuggets on Sunday nights.

Also, by way of beach bars you can't go wrong with Lani Kai

Go to Sanibel and eat at McT's. Great seafood and I once had a fantastic steak there.

A lot of times your recommendation that you get is the most expensive place in town. I like going to get food at places that are off the beaten path a little bit or that others have frequented

It's a real tiny place with some interesting choices indeed. Eaten there 3 times and left happy each time!

1 hr is a little bit out of the way... won't have a vehicle besides the bus we're traveling on... if this helps narrow it down we're staying across the river in North Ft. Myers and playing @ Terry Park everyday

I feel like more people go there than you think. I've been there several times, and I know quite a few people not including the many posters here, that have been there as well.

Is the area around Terry Park still pretty sketchy? That was 1 of the things I remember when playing there, that and it took an absolute bomb to get one out of TP1.

what school are you coaching with?
