Just got my Macbook pro about 3 weeks ago. Any mac users on this site, are there any apps you suggest downloading?

Not everyone can be as hilarious as you and CoA. Pwning fools 24/7.

The apps I find most useful are only useful due to my profession but here are some that I use that have nothing to do with my job (all free):

Transmission (torrent software)
Thunderbird (Mozilla mail client, blows Mail out of the water)
Chrome
Dropbox
Handbrake (video ripping and encoding)
VLC (video player)
AppCleaner (cleans up all files when deleting an app)
Caffeine (keeps your monitor from dimming if you turn it on)
GeekTool (lets you add all sorts of shit to your desktop)
Camouflage (lets you toggle your desktop icons on and off)

QFT. Pwning ain't easy. Sorry, but you have to come out with better shit than what sonofanump came out with. I hardly interact with Wes, so his post doesn't even make sense to me. It has no relevance.

Thanks for the apps though, I will look into them.

Oh yeah, tons! Here are a few of the versions:

GoChiefs
Jordo
Sq Crazies
LJ
TheDynasty
Cry4Fun

Plenty more out there. Those apps will give you a diverse share of lolfails.

I used to hate Apple too, but now it is clear to me why the Mac blows any PC out of the water.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

I would just rather use a computer.

I was under the impression that a mac was a computer. Am I wrong?

That's great. I'm glad a toy allows me to do my job easier than a PC. I'm essentially playing 8 hours a day!

While we're on the subject of Macbooks.

Has anyone taken theirs apart and cleaned out the inside/fan? Mine is running quite often and I'm guessing dust is the issue. Its over 4 years old and never been cleaned out.

I have a guide from ifix it.....doesn't seem too difficult.

I have both, and my Toshiba holds it's own against the Mac. Plus, I like having shit that still works more than 6 months after I buy it, which I've never found any apple product capable of handling.
