This is the first time in many years that Campbell Memorial is not seeded #1 or # 2. I still feel the Red Devils can make some noise at Salem.

Coach Danilov seemed to have a plan. He could have gone pretty much anywhere on the board and hopped against #5 seed Springfield with the winner getting #3 seed EP. Did find it interesting that he wanted to get into Manchesters side of the board instead of Ursulines.

From the looks of this, Ursuline has the easier road to get to the District Championship game. Springfield won't be able to match Campbell's quickness or athleticism, same goes for E.P.

Perhaps. I haven't seen Manchester yet, but I've heard they're quite good. Gotta get through them first before getting to the Championship game. But if anyone can do it, it's Coach Danilov. Much respect for the guy.

I think this may actually become an old throwback District Championship Ursuline vs. Campbell....I know all about Campbell's record, but they have picked it up as of late

If you are discounting Akron Manchester, then the mistake could be all yours.

I am not discounting Manchester as I have seen them play this season a few times already. That is my prediction, what is yours?

I have to consider Campbell a real dark horse this year. The Devils played a tough non-confrence schedule as usual, were without their two bigs for four or five games,
which are two reasons why they do not have a winning record this season. The Red Devils have won five of their last six. Campbell also lacks their usual depth coming off the bench. They usually goes 8 or 9 deep, which allows Coach Danilov to rotate his players to keep them fresh and out of foul trouble. This season that is not the case. Depth is a real issue. If Key players get into foul trouble, it could spell trouble. I do like Campbell to beat Springfield in a game that could be much closer than many believe, especially if Campbell's players get into fould trouble. If they don't, Campbell's length and athleticism could be too much for Springfield to contend with for four quarters.

I wasn't very impressed with Manchester tonight. Don't know if it was opening night jitters or what but they will need to step it up against Campbell. Certainly didn't look like a #1 seed.

The number 3 and 4 seeds are now out.

Terrible year for the ITCL. 0-5 and all teams are out of this tournament.

If they could just limit theyre mistakes they would not play so many close games. They go into a lull for 4 minutes at a time and put themselves in bad spots as they have done all year long. However, they are a team that you dont want to play because of their athleticism. I expect the Manchester game to be one of the better games of the tournament.

No one should overlook Campbell either. They have played an excellent schedule, are well coached and are peaking at the right time. I like their chances.

Good luck Devils.

Well, well, well, Campbell is one victory away from playing in its 6th consecutive District Championship. It's going to take their best effort of the year to get past Manchester. If Lebron and Bledsoe can stay out of foul trouble, they tend to pick up more "dumb" fouls than anyone else, the Devils have a really good chance of winning. If they have to sit for any significant amount of time, then it could be a very long night for the Devils. Tuesday can't get here soon enough, good luck Campbell!!

Will they 'play a full game' against Manchester this time? :)
