So last night i dropped my blackberry in the toilet...oops..it was only in the water for about a second or two before i grabbed it out

i read online this morning about ways to dry out the phone and currently have it in rice with a fan blowing on it...it also said not to try to turn it on until you are sure its completely dry (24-48 hours), however i tried turning it on right when i pulled it out and tried this morning after i thought it had dried out

anyone have any suggestions or am i kinda screwed?

You're kinda screwed.

But try taking out the battery and putting that in a ziplock bag full of white rice. And throw the phone in a separate bag of white rice.

Let it sit for a few hours. The rice should draw out any other moisture in the phone.

But you may have already fried it trying to turn it on.

when i tried to turn it on, it did turn on and the started loading up like normal and would get about 3/4 of the way there, then just turn off

I fell in a river with my phone on me, so I took out the battery and left it in the sun for the rest of the day. Woke up the next morning, put it together, and it worked perfectly. However I got my current phone wet and when I dried it out a few buttons no longer work. I wouldn't say you're screwed, but a little damage should be expected.

Rice and ziplock bags for both. Leave them in the bags for several hours. Dont keep trying to check it either. Wait.

Correct. For me, it seems like the baked potato setting on my microwave works the best.

I agree. Apply a little sour cream to that to loosen up the buttons.
