I've got the email of one of the taxi drivers on the island. If you do a search of Aruba on travel sites you will almost always see people talking about "Bully". We thought what the hell and emailed him to set up a time to pick us up at the airport. We got off the plane and the dude was waiting for us. On the way to our hotel we were chatting and he found out we had never been to Aruba. All of a sudden he pulls into a small grocery store and comes out with 4 cans of Balashi beer (brewer on the island) for us to drink the rest of the way. All taxi rates are set for the island, as well, so any taxi from the airport should be the same to where you are going. We've heard you kinda have to watch out to make sure drivers are tacking on a little extra. Anyway, if you want this guys email I can PM it to you.
One other thing that I can remember at the moment that is a must is one of the booze/snorkeling cruises. We went with the Jolly Pirate and it was an awesome time. The boat you out a ways off the beach and stop at three different spots for snorkeling and on the last stop they have a rope swing off the boat. The entire time there is free booze. Highly, highly recommended.
I'll try and think of some of the better restaurants we went to and let you know.
