He did actually create his own shot in the lane, a long time criticism of yours, got to the line, another one...
You're a fool.
You've been on his nuts since he walked on the court as a frosh, you were brutal, and still are. With every post you make I'm more and more convinced you see in him the great white hope you think you could have been and are a jealous, petulant, whiny bitch about it.
You didn't get it done, get over it.

dynasty, how do you know what his mindset was that whole game? Laughable.
So basically Craft gets a pass because he is a freshman, even though he hasn't played like a freshman all year? If I had to guess you were likely saying the same shit about Diebler during his freshman year that you are now.

And are we really criticizing a guy who led the team in scoring? How idiotic can you be? Okay, you take your guy who failed to show up for 40 minutes and I'll take the guy who led the team in scoring.
Yup, I am criticizing a guy with more potential and ability then just about anyone on the team, except one. A guy who is an NBA player. A guy who SHOULD be doing what he did for 40 min, not 30. Its all about potential and what a guy SHOULD be doing. A stud like Buford SHOULD be there the last 10 min, the last 2 min...he has that ability. Thats a fact.

I'm not jealous of Diebler. I've said it a thousand times, and my biggest problem with any basketball player is a player that is soft. That's what I see in Diebler.
With that said, I know what his value is, and that is spacing the floor. And that leads to my second problem with him, is that he isn't always aggressive in looking for his shot. Ohio State is a much better team when he shoots at least 6-7 times a game.

This I don't disagree with. And tonite, he was much better and more aggressive. No question, when Diebler gets his 10-12 pts...OSU is in much better shape. But I also don't want him just burping up shots to get shots. Its hard to fault him for looking into the post first, shot second.

I agree with that. However, defenses are never going to game plan to shut him down. They game plan for Sullinger and Buford and list Diebler as a knock down shooter. So, there really shouldn't be games where he only shoots 3-4 times, because it's not like teams are taking things away from him. Last night he played pretty well and was more aggressive.

Hmm doesn't sound like a soft player to me. Sounds more like typical BS spewing from dynasty. Not surprised, dynasty being negative troll on an ohio thread again, whats new. Glad to see he's gettiong pwned for his bs by the rest of the posters. lolfail dynasty.

This is an indictment of Sullinger and Lauderdale and not a reason to praise Diebler. He outrebounded Sullinger and Lauderdale combined tonight,
Diebler is on the floor to stretch the defense and he did that last night.

I think one of them was "Diebler swallows." He was referring to the Wisconsin game correct?

I know when Diebler went to the FT line at Wisconsin you could hear a chant directed at him, but I couldn't make it out.
Just did a search, and they were chanting "Diebler Swallows".

I am not sure there is a worse student fan base then Wisconsin. From chants like this, spitting in Sullinger to this shit they do in football to the players. I realize its college and its all fun and games...they cross the line IMO.

Hm. Maryland comes to mind, at least in basketball. Didn't they chant something at Redick about banging his sister?centralbucksfan;681058 wrote:I am not sure there is a worse student fan base then Wisconsin. Maybe it's just me, but the "Diebler Swallows" comment is horrible. Probably close to crossing the line, but I've heard of much worse things being chanted.
The spitting is inexcusable.

Just saying in combination with what has happened in basketball AND football, its pretty bad. Throwing marshmellows laced with coins at the football team in the tunnel, along with batteries.

They are a little out of control, hell what was it a couple years ago w/the Wiscy band? They were nearly all suspended or something, can't remember.
West Virgina is horrible, their chants are way out of line and they were throwing piss filled something or another at fans during football games.

I think the all-time worst was when I think it was ASU started a "PLO" chant about Steve Kerr's dad when he was at Arizona. His dad had recently been murdered in Beirut if I recall correctly...

I've always said this about Jon. When you coach players and you see how hard they work -- even when they're working hard and you're not watching -- you want those guys to be rewarded. If and when that [record] happens, I'll be as excited as ever because I know what he's done, what he's put in to get that."
"I've always had great faith in Jon. At times, I'm the only one who had great faith in Jon, including himself," he said. "I watched his work ethic from the day he walked in here, and I can remember when things maybe didn't go well for him his freshman year. All he cared about was winning. I knew if he kept that mindset and continued to work at the same level, he was going to be the player that he is today."
