No doubt about it that LeBron is the best SF to ever play the game. No knock on Larry, I love Larry Bird.

If you adjusted matchups, had LeBron guarding Magic then I think the L/C team would be screwed. LeBron would eat Magic alive--too slow to play the point with someone who can match his size.

I wasn't aware there were people who still doubted this. Lebron would eat Larry's lunch, no doubt about it.

Lebron is better based on what?

He has had the best team in the east and couldn't get it done. The greatest of all time are judged by championships and he's sitting at zero. Lebron might be the best SF of this era, but not all time. He's the dan marino of the nba, great talent but can't win the big one. Anyone who compares him to Kobe and MJ are nuts too.

Lebron is just a better overall player. Lebron has more talent, athleticism, and can just do more than Larry did. Like you said Lebron has great talent and great talent doesn't always win championships because this is a team sport one player can only take a team so far. And I never compared him to Kobe or MJ because I don't think he is as good as either one of those players.

Why do you think Larry is better? The only argument you've given is that he has championships and Lebron doesn't.

clickclickboom Horry does have some clutch shots haha if I was asked the question "What non big name NBA player would you want taking the shot at the end of the game?" my answer would be Robert Horry. Also I agree Malone > Garnett.

Rings don't count to sleeper because Lebron doesn't have any. If Lebron did have any rings sleeper would use it every chance he could and you can take that to the bank.........
People don't think Larry Bird is as good as Lebron because, Larry is not a physical specimen. Bird is a better shooter,better post-up player and just as good at passing and rebounding.
Bird also has the killer instinct that Lebron doesn't have.

sleep ain't a Leoron nut hugger, he just recognizes his ability. Although I'm amazed by the younger generations inability to see past greats performance. The NBA was a lot tougher back in the day, I think hook and I have common ground in this belief.

I agree, it's too early to tell though. Nobody claimed MJ as such after as many years in the league, different times though. He had his chance to solidify it but blew it in bolting, doesn't mean he can't recover though, I'll give him a career to prove otherwise.
