look to the right of the dog this was taken at a friends house in mechanicsburg ohio. I seen it on the camera before he posted it on facebook. He still has the photo on the camera waiting on the people for the ghost lab to show up.

So why would a ghost show up on camera but you can't see it with your eye?

Have no clue that is why I am asking if it is real or if there is a way to tell if its real. Im sure once that ghost lab place gets there they will have a way to tell if the photo is real. My buddy was acting excited about it so not sure if he faked it or not. I do know he hasnt stayed in the house since then either lol.

My wife used to watch all those Ghost Hunters shows. They looked in, supposedly, some of the most haunted places in the world. They went into mental hospitals, jails, bars, and houses all over the place. And in all those episodes, they never found anything like that picture.

That makes me a pretty big skeptic of the picture.

I think it's fake. First of all, if you weren't specifically looking for a "ghost" would that image even come to your focus? Also, it's perfectly horizontal. I don't think that a ghost would be that precise.

Real or not, it's not exactly a good looking ghost, is it?

*EDIT

Also, why would a ghost diminish its size to fit the frame?

Yea, it looks to "clean" to be considered authentic.

Also, the grey mass in the very upper right hand corner of the pic can be considered a face if you use your imagination. But that was just me looking at every little thing trying to construe what can be considered "ghostly".

PLUS, looking at the light glinting off of the dog's head and back, I can use my imagination to construe that the be a skeletal knight weilding a wide-bladed saxe.

I believe in the possibility of ghosts, so it's not not I'm just trying to be totally cynical. But I don't see anything that's convincing to me.

That was my thought.

But don't know what could be causing the reflection.

Those shows were a joke and think those people were just a tad whacky.

For some reason it comes in better on the camera could it be a double exposure? The guy never done anything questionable like this before so that is why im a little skeptical but not sure what to think. The people on the one show told him if it is real they will pay him some money for the camera and photo but he wasnt allowed to tell me what he was offered.

Is the dog laying under a glass table in a room that has a TV? Am I crazy or if you stare at it does it change hues.

Looks like the image is refecting off of plastic wrap and the dog is laying on part of the wrapping... if you look at the dogs nose you cam see a fold of the plastic wrap...

It's reflection off of a piece of glass between the camera and the dog. If you look really closely at the "ghost's" head, you can see that it actually overlaps the dog's neck/shoulder area on the dog's left side, meaning that the image is above the dog. My guess is that it's an old photograph hanging on a wall and it just so happened that the dog laid down perfectly where the reflection is and the distance the picture is away from the piece of glass makes it look that small and faint. But the horizontal accuracy and clarity (i.e. not fuzzy or blurry) give it away.

1) There are no such thing as ghosts (IMO).
2) I don't see it. I see smudge or blur, but I don't see it resembling a person in any aspect.

Double exposure can only happen with film...not digital cameras.
