I love "true" fans arguments. Only better argument regarding authenticity on here (or maybe it was the end of JJ) was when someone asked Upper90 is if he was "authentic African" (I think the word used was authentic)

No sign of capone yet. Not surprised, the piece of shit can dish it, but he surely can't take it. I wonder how long the pussy will be hiding. My guess is he will be back the next time something bad happens to a Cleveland franchise.

What a coward not to man up after last night and all the shit talking hes done during the postseason.

He will get on here and shit on the Cavs now and totally ignore what happened last night or will wait till OSU gets beat and will start ten different threads about it.

Cant wait till you come back Art Rapedell.

No it was Genuine African. I remember cause I'd always joke with him about it on the FB. And it was at the end of JJ, Giftie never made it over here I believe.

Face it, anyone who lives in Ohio and cheers for another team is one bandwagoning mother fucker.

Disclaimer: If you were raised in pennsylvania and cheer for the eagles or steelers, or raised in new york and cheer for the spankees, etc....you have a pass.

But you stipid mother fuckers who have lived in Ohio your whole life, and cheer for the Steelers, Lakers, Celtics, Yankees, Red Sox, etc. you're nothing but punk bitches to me.

Have a nice day.

First, let me say that as a Pittsburgh fan in every pro sport, Capone/Modell is an ass and like other Pittsburgh fans on here, he doesn't represent me and I hate the fact we get lumped in with him.

Next, regarding the above post. Last I checked, they weren't called the Ohio Browns, or the Ohio Indians, or the Ohio Cavaliers. They are the CLEVELAND Browns. I don't live in Cleveland therefore they don't represent me. If they were the "Ohio Browns", then maybe these pointless and assinine arguments about living on the Ohio side of the border would have merit.

Using your weak "living inside the border" argument, since they are the CLEVELAND Browns, if you don't live inside the border of the City of Cleveland, then you are a bandwagoner (even if you live in the suburbs). Plain and simple. You aren't a CLEVELANDER.

If you want to use the "I live in the suburbs of Cleveland (therefore NOT a Clevelander) so it's the closest pro team to me", then I'll use the same argument that "I can get to Pittsburgh quicker than I can get to Cleveland. It's the closest pro team to me."

There's a difference between living on the Ohio River and cheering for the Steelers (20-60 minutes away), and cheering for the Lakers or Yankees. One is bandwagoning, the other is in your back yard and the proximity overrules the state line... and this is coming from a Browns fan who lives in a town that is almost equidistant from the two.

It seems so obvious, yet it always turns into this pissing match.

Ok, but it's a complete joke when some of these steelers fans either A. have no connection to pittsburgh at all, or B. they are also OSU fans. If they are close enough to pitt to be a fan of their pro teams, then why aren't they fans of the university of pitt?

Generally the Pittsburgh/OSU mix are mouth breathers who just pick the good and easy choice, I'll give you that (god knows they have no alma mater to cheer for in college, and some of them not even HS, lol).

I really don't care who anyone roots for or why....it is their choice. I do find some peoples' choices funny though...the funniest being Lebron. He obviously started following sports a lot in the mid 90s....and liked Bulls, Yankees and Cowboys...lmao. Frontrunning like that is pretty comical.

See my argument above. It's The OHIO State University. It says OHIO. I'm represented. I'm not represented by CLEVELAND or the CLEVELAND Browns. It's so simple.

Sure is, he's picking and chosing. SMH. Look at his excuses as he tries to rationalize why its ok for him to like the steelers and OSU. Joke.

+1

Some questions:

Is sports a form of entertainment? (Yes)

Do we choose to like teams that provide entertainment to us? (Yes)

Is it possible that due to whatever circumstances we like, that a team that entertains us is in another state? (Yes)

Are the people who get worked up about the matter idiots who for some reason or another have nothing else to call someone out on other than them liking a team in a different place (YES).

I have no ties to New York. I root for the Jets because of their impressive history of winning. I'm a frontrunning, bandwagoning asshole.

Me too. I'm a Heat and Reds fan. FRONT RUNNER!

But, I'm also a Browns and Wolverines fan....soooooo....how is that being a front runner??? I mean, I realize I gave a rats ass about geographical location when I started rooting for my teams at 8 YEARS OLD!
