I gave GREEN BAY credit and congratulated THEIR actual fans. Not sure how that makes me a poor loser. Is there such a thing as a poor neutral party/non-participant? Because that's what I'm seeing a lot of tonight on here.

The last time was at the Pro Football HOF they had a board up that recognized all champions from the various pro football leagues (NFL, AFL, AAFC, WFL, USFL). I haven't been there in about 3 years, so I don't know if it is still up or not. However, the HOF usually has displays from the various pro football leagues.

They aren't NFL records, but they are pro football records. They are two different things.

While you guys are counting records and titles from a defunct league that consisted of 8 teams that is not recognized the same as the NFL.

No one is saying that they are NFL titles. They are pro football titles. When the AAFC merged a few of its franchises into the NFL, the first game they scheduled was the Browns against the two-time defending champion Eagles. The purpose was to embarass the Browns. The Browns blew out the Eagles 35-10, and they went on to win the NFL championship that year.

Bingo.

8-team league, teams like the Miami Seahawks. Some can claim it as the equivalent of an NFL pro football championship if they like. It's not.

The NFL had a whopping 2 more teams than the AAFC...

the aafc compares pretty favorably to the aba. the browns dominance in that league means about as much the pacers dominance in the aba...not a whole lot

All-time series record is in favor of the Steelers at 61-56. The Steelers are also unbeaten in the playoffs vs. the Browns at 2-0.

Why are Browns fans all celebrating the Packers win as if their team had won?

Because Al Capone and his play money is a dick.

Al Capone has nothing to do with the Green Bay Packers.

All that counts right now is Super Bowl's. Right now, the Browns are one of (I believe) three teams to have never even been to one. One of those teams is an expansion team, and the other just sucks (Detroit, Jacksonville).

Detroit is on their way to competing in their division in a few years. Cleveland still needs a lot of help to even have a winning season.

You're correct. He has more to do with Brown's fans angst.

The Browns didn't even get the benefits of being an expansion team. I still contend that how they were brought back has more to do with where they are now than any other one thing.

He shouldn't. I don't let COA and his bullshit make me think that all Brown's fans are ridiculous. Why should the same not be true for Browns fans and Capone?

You asked why, I answered for you. He's too stupid to take seriously for me, but it explains what I would consider the majority contributing factor to the flaming.

Teams that have never made the Super Bowl include the Lions, Jaguars, Browns and Texans.
