Ohio State won by just three in Columbus on January 9th, but the Golden Gophers have dropped two consecutive games - both on the road.

Thad's only 1-4 at Minnesota, with the only win coming with the Thad 5. Even with Minnesota's recent struggles it's going to be tough to win at the Barn.

It's that time of year again, time to remember why as an Ohio State fan you should always want to pound the shit out of Minnesota in the Barn. Also a reminder of why Dave Winfield is and always be a piece of shit.

Minn is not the same team without Nolan at PG. Still wont' be an easy game by any means. I am expecting OSU first loss to come within the next two games. Either this one, or the next at Wisky. I'd almost rather have Minny beat them as Wiskly knocked #1 OSU football off this year. How ironic that they could get a shot to do it in bball as well.....

Luke Witte was my favorite OSU player growing up. I have even more respect for him after reading this and how he has moved on with his life.

gonna' be a "Barn" burner, but OSU will survive, 72-64--now Wisky's another story....

I really expect the Buckeyes to bounce back and start playing more consistently at a high level....I think in a season as long as hoops season that it's tough to maintain a high intensity level and play well, especially against the "weak" part of your schedule. I can really see the Buckeyes running the regular season table, but the Big Ten Tourney worries me.

Never forget.

Gonna be tough for OSU to get a win there, as it always is, but i've got faith.

Without Nolan and Joseph, the Bucks just need to make sure Hoffarber doesn't go off. Bucks by 10.

I was in high school at the time and remember it well. Every year the Buckeyes visit the barn, I think about that incident. Not that I hold a grudge or anything but I hope we lay one on the Gophers today. lol

Wow

The brawl was before my time, I heard the story but I never saw the footage. That was unreal. Where were the rest of the Buckeyes?

I have a feeling the Bucks are going to drop this game or the Wisconsin game. Just a feeling really. They are due for a loss, being realistic here. Bucks win or lose by 2 today with double doubles from Sullinger and Bufford.

^^^Yep....I'd say the Buckeyes are due. They've been hanging precariously through most of their Big 10 encounters..

A loss is more likely from the Badgers as the whiney Bo Ryan often has his way with the officials. Now the Wisky fans are just as bad. It's no small wonder Wisky rarely loses a home game. I honestly don't expect the Buckeyes to win that one but I think they should win today - especially with Minny not being at full speed.
