He announced and then the speculation started once Auburn didn't receive his LOI shortly after. It was quite comical because ESPN had Jenn Brown in Auburn's office and there was no clue what was going on. Kouandjio is supposedly having second thoughts and was close to choosing New Mexico.

If Jenn Brown were around me I would have no clue what else was going on either.

I thought that part of the problem with this kid was that he wanted to go to Auburn so he committed there, but his family really wants him to go to Alabama with his brother and no one knew he was picking Auburn, so he didn't send his letter while his family tried to work everything out.

I agree--it's more of a "the ethics of coaching 101" fail

Uh they broke guy code. The day after signing day the dude's position coach leaves and no one told the recruit about it? Might not be a fail considering he signed, but it was a fail in the way they handled it.

I think there are a few players from around the area he is from that play for New Mexico. I do agree that I would be stupid to go out there.

Apparently Kouandjio has signed with Bama. Hopefully it was his decision and not anyone else's.
