It's a race for second place at this point, and the biggest game in that regard kicks off the week as Purdue visits the Kohl Center for the Badgers and Boilers first meeting of the season. Wisconsin outlasts Purdue at home to draw even with them for second place in the Big10 each with three losses.

Commanding 3 game lead for the Buckeyes.

Purdue got homered tonight against Wisconsin..that was bad. Johnson had like 3 touch fouls that simply were not fouls.

I tuned in late and only saw the last couple minutes. Wisconsin is like 4593-2 at home though so I wouldn't be surprised.

This Penn State game is HUGE for their @ large chances. They have a legitimate shot at making the tournament after being picked 10th by many in the preseason. I felt that Penn State was going to be a lot better than people gave them credit. By the way, this game is on BTN with Illinois up eight.

I should say one of many huge games. They still are home against OSU, @ Sparty, @ Wisky, and have a home and home against Minnesota. I would say if they get two of the remaining games and avoid getting knocked-off by the likes of NW/Mich,they could maybe make the tourney with a win or two (depending whom they play) in the B10 tourney. Losing by one @ Purdue and by three @ OSU doesn't look awful either.

It don't matter if they lost by 30, all the committee sees is a L.

Pretty sure they will acknowledge a close loss vs a 30 point loss.

This.

Plus losing to a good team is better than losing to a bad team.

Looking like an ugly L for the Nittany Lions tonight, Illini taking care of business after a few losses.

IU kid had a nice one handed dunk, hung for a second(not deserving of a T) and then the Minny guy was getting the ball and they made a little contact the the IU player sort of kicked his leg. I just don't think it was deserving at all of a T.

Maybe not a "terrible" call, but it wasn't a good one.
